If I could leave zero stars I would!!! Through Uber Eats I placed an order, which contained âStrawberry Chicken Poppy Saladâ I ordered it without âblueberriesâ, it arrived in a timely manner but to my surprise had no strawberries. I called the ârestaurantâ and spoke with the manager âArtâ, who after three minutes of telling me that I have to call Uber Eats and take it up with them, informed me that they are out of strawberries and that it is a corporate issue lack of communication between Uber Eats and what the ârestaurantsâ actually have in stock. I asked him for the phone number to the corporate office, because why should I call Uber Eats? The driver didnât forget my strawberries. Art informed me that I can âlook it up online myselfâ clearly Art needs training in customer service skills. I contacted Customer Service Corporate who was nice enough to take my complaint about Art. I also informed Nicole that I was on the Middletown NYâs website and I could indeed place an order for a Strawberry Chicken Poppy Salad. Not really likely that they are out of strawberries, someone just dropped the ball. Had to email Uber Eats. Panera in Middletown used to be a decent enough place to eat, sadly the only thing that they have continuously been is a disappointment 3 out of 3 orders in 3 months theyâve lost my business. And to add....I placed my order at 4:45 pm, at 6:19 pm I am their website to order a pick up and that salad is still showing available, its not an Uber Eats issue, having a 3rd party simply gives Panera employees another avenue to not assume responsibility for their...
Read moreI was dissatisfied with the customer service at Panera; the manager was unhelpful. I went to Panera for lunch, and since the cashier line was long, I decided to use the kiosk. After placing my order, I waited for 10 minutes before asking the manager about the status of my food and smoothie. She claimed my order hadnât gone through, but when I showed her my receipt to prove I had paid, she informed me there was a 20-minute wait. I asked for clarification on the wait time since others who arrived after me were already receiving their food. The place was disorganized and understaffed.
To make matters worse, instead of addressing the issue, the manager sarcastically suggested that I apply for a job there if I was unhappy, failing to take responsibility as a manager to organize the process and keep customers informed about wait times. When she went to check on my order, A customer confronted me, telling me to be patient and that it wasnât the manager's fault. I politely asked her to mind her own business, but instead of intervening, the manager sided with the other customer. She then told me she could refund my money or that I needed to leave. I politely told her that the customer is in my conversation that she should leave or the manager should have handle it another way. I explained that I had already waited 35 minutes and was trying to be patient, but the manager continued to be sarcastic. I also felt there were some racial undertones in the way the situation was handled. Ultimately, I ended up waiting 50 minutes for my food and got to work late...
Read moreAfter 3 trips back and forth trying to get what I ordered, I finally asked for my money back. Many months ago I got a ham and swiss on white bread with just a little lettuce and mayo. When I got out to my car it was just lettuce and mayo and no ham so I went back in and they finally made the order right. After that I said I'd never go back again but I was in Middletown, New York today and said that I would give them another try. Your heritage ham is absolutely disgusting. Little bits and pieces of ham. When I opened the package and saw the little pieces of ham and trust me there wasn't even enough ham on the one side that would resemble the size of two quarters, I said I wasn't paying $10 for this and went back in and complained. The girl that was making sandwiches was very nice and apologized and said that she was training a new girl and that she would remake the sandwich herself. I asked her what happened to the sliced ham and she said that this was your new heritage ham. đ±đ±đ± My slip didn't even say mayonnaise and it said no mustard sauce which is what they put on it so back in I went and talked to a Manager and she agreed that the sandwich was not what they advertise and I returned it. The Manager was very nice. Little bits and pieces of ham and the price was higher from the last time I was there. Let me know when you go back to slices of ham that doesn't fall off the sandwich when you pick it up. I used to like stopping at Panera. Not anymore. I am sorry I didn't take...
