Millbrook Floral Design — Local services in Town of Washington

The most condescending and incredibly distasteful customer service. I live in Los Angeles, and wanted to send a friend birthday flowers the next day. I called them to enquire about the possibility of doing so. My question was simple: “Hi, I have a friend whose birthday is tomorrow, and she lives in Clinton Corners, is there any kind of arrangement that could be delivered to her home tomorrow?”

The woman who spoke to me could have easily and simply said “I’m so sorry; we are completely inundated with orders, and won’t be able to make that happen. “

Instead, she starts off with a laugh. And then says, “Maybe you haven’t noticed; but we’re in the middle of a pandemic. Smart people call us a week ahead of time to get their orders in. Not leave it to the last minute to remember a friend’s birthday. They can’t be that important of a friend, if you’re trying to do something last minute, can’t they?”

Incredibly rude, absolutely uncalled for, and...

No stars! I sent an order on 9/17 for delivery in Clinton Corners on 9/18. Nothing arrived as of 3pm so I inquired as to when to expect the delivery. I received a reply after 4pm leaving me no option to order from someone else! Why wasn't I informed early in the day? Very disappointing, you may want to contact James Cress Flowers as that is where I ordered from yesterday. It was my friend's birthday so it was timely! I will also leave a review on Yelp and Google. I ordered an arrangement for a memorial service over the phone not knowing anything about this florist or what design I wanted. I mentioned that the service was for someone who was into nature and trees, and the floral arrangement reflected that preference. It was delivered on time and added to the beauty of the ceremony.
