Reardon Briggs Hardware — Local services in Town of Washington

I live in Millbrook and go to this hardware store a few times a week for anything from cleaning supplies to hardware to gardening to paint. I've never encountered a rude person or someone unwilling to help - in fact it's the opposite. You can't walk around the store without having some friendly staff member approach you to ask if you need help. I count on this store for every household need, and have never been disappointed - in fact I'm often surprised at the items they stock, and they've saved me SO many trips to the nearest Home Depot. I have shopped here for 16 years and always had a good experience until today. Today I dealt with a young girl who works there who was purposely insulting. I wanted to shop local and had bought a Dustbuster that was more than the ones online. But I ended up returning it because when you shop online you don't get insulted. Everybody else there has always been very nice, but I will probably hesitate to buy anything at Reardon Briggs...

This little hardware store punches way above its weight. They've got all the basics and a lot more than you would expect. But what's most amazing are the folks there.
