Just moved to the area and trying to find some good hang out spots with the hubby for some beers. The place is always busy with volleyball so parking is a nightmare. Been here 3 times now and all the times (on different days of the week) the bartenders were not very personable or welcoming. Yesterday, we went after having a nice dinner out, to have some drinks. My husband got a draft beer and the lip of the glass had a good sized chip in it. (He drank it anyway from the otherside). We brought it to the attention of one of the bartenders and she said “oh yeah, ok. I’ll get a different one” no apologies, no this one’s on me, nothing. she then comes back and asks what he was drinking. He said budlight. She says “draft or bottle?” 🤔 clearly there’s no empty bottle on the bar, and she served him his first one and should have known it was a draft. It wasn’t super busy. There was two bartenders on. I bartend one day a week for extra money and work ALONE and can handle 2 people deep on my own. They were too busy chatting with “regulars”. Tried to play QuickDraw and just kept ignoring my tickets and money on the bar which made me miss out on a $75 win. They weren’t serving anyone else, that it couldn’t be done. Finished our first drink and put them to the edge waiting for another and it took about 10-15 min to get one. Both bartenders walked past us several times without acknowledging our empties. THEN what really pissed us off, was people coming through the door standing behind us, were getting served while she was standing right in front of us and our empties. It was like we didn’t even exist. Seemed like they were friends of theirs or just regulars. We ended up leaving after our drinks we finally got served, were gone, because we were once again waiting. It seems that in this bar the bartenders are very “clicky” they take care of the Regulars and friends and don’t acknowledge new patrons. Sad part is we live a minute or two away and would have been very regular customers that take care of their bartenders who are actually interacting and take care of the patrons no matter...
Read moreI've lived in the area for over 2 decades and I've never been there before. I always figured this was a local dump. I wasn't wrong...entirely. I made the mistake of going on a Saturday evening. They had volleyball league games going on so the parking lot was a mess and people were coming in and out. The front door is misleading as you would never guess that's the entry, just a plain black door with no markings. Beer selection is minimal, but varied. A few upsides...the beer was cold and the food smelled really good. Tunes were old school (90s) If you're looking for a place to party and celebrate in a dress down fashion, or enjoy some drinks after your bar league game, this...
Read moreIt's an ok place. The service is slow. The wings are great. The 3rd volleyball court they added is horrendous, it's like a dusting of sand on broken up concrete. It's extremely uneven and unforgiving, I wouldn't recommend diving to get a ball. A league on that court should be discounted because of the inconsistencies. I understand they wanted to get the new patio finished for the summer and all, but they rushed that new court, and it shows. Hopefully nobody gets injured because of it. The parking isn't the greatest either, it's just odd due...
