I went to this thrift store , as I have not been to this location in the last year. I had to really use the restroom before I grabbed a few items for the homeless I service. I was told that I could use the restroom because they do not not have a public restroom. Businesses have lost their way with humanity using a restroom is a basic human need. I donated to this organization, but not anymore. People spend their hard earned money in these places, and to not have a restroom for a paying customer spedks volumes. Amvets dose the same thing, I refuse to support them, and what these businesses refuse to see is a customer could be a potential business offer, and because stores like this have lost sight of how to treat paying customers and putting profit over people first can be a business deal and loss. One lady asked me if I get the senior discount and was going to give it to me without asking for my ID. I declined saying I'm not a senior and I don't want a discount. Again, not even looking to buy - just needed to see if there was a wedding item in the small household items section. Both of these times, I was barked at rudely by the front cashier that they were closing in however-many-minutes. Once my reply came as “okay thanks, I’m still going to see if you have what I’m looking for - just need a minute.” She scoffed so loudly, I was mortified. You close at 8, guys. Not 7:45, not 7:50, not 7:59. 8. Greet your customers,...
