First of all this is one of the worst places to purchase furniture! I purchased furniture in May and was told it would be here by June. Then was told it was on delay because of Covid. From June this went on until end of September before I finally cancelled the order. At this point they advised it would definitely be here in October. Spoke to manager who was very rude and unprofessional and advised he would look into possible alternative for comparable set. Needless to say I went elsewhere and purchased and had 4 days later. They also charged me set up and delivery of a product that I still had to put together! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. After 3 1/2 months of bogus delivery dates and no customer service I am happy to report that I am now enjoying my new living room set no thanks to Joe Tahan’s! Great way to do business ! Also do yourself a favor and don’t buy any Ashley products because you will receive them even though they advertise delivery 6 weeks when in fact they aren’t even making the products in...

I had a great experience with my recent furniture purchase. Brandy greeted me as I entered, and explained exactly where the items I was looking for were located. She then let me look, and try without feeling like she was hovering. Once I came to the end of the choices she appeared again to ask if I had any questions. She answered my questions with ease and never did I feel rushed. She gave me her card when I decided I needed to look some more. I came back the next day but had limited time. Just enough to take the time to really try my couple of final choices. When I came back on day 3, Brandy was right there to answer my final questions, help me find a coffee table, and get me set up with financing. We have never had a bad experience shopping here. 23 years ago we bought our first living room set from Tahan’s, our family has shopped with them for decades and decades so this was the 1st place we looked for a new sleeper sofa. True to our experience and Tahan’s reputation we were not disappointed! Steve in the New Hartford store was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and made customizing our sofa a breeze! (We decided to go with an England sofa as they have a great warranty, so many options to customize not only the sofa and pillows but the mattress as well). We are looking forward to our new England sleeper sofa being delivered in around 3 weeks! PS: Steve showed us their selection of TemperPedic mattresses and frames before we left-WOAH, why haven’t we gotten one of these a long time ago??
