My husband and I come shopping at Woodbury commons outlet every weekend. It’s not my first visit at this store. I have purchased a lot from this store before and have never experienced anything like this, but unfortunately this is first time happened to me. My husband and my toddler and I were happily shopping. When we entered the store no one greeted us or was friendly from the moment we walked in, but it didn’t matter. We just wanted to enjoy shopping. After shopping for a while, I picked our shoes for my son and for myself. While my husband was still looking, I asked the guy who was called the manager named Mike, if it would be okay if I put our shoe boxes on the counter because I didn’t wanted to carry it around and my husband hadn't picked them out yet so I had to wait for him. Then he asked me in an unclear tone, “what?” I was kind of annoyed, but I endured it. When we were ready to pay at the register, my child was already wearing the new shoes so I took them off just one side that has sensor and the price tag and I handed him the shoes and asked him, “my child is already wearing them, can you take off the sensor and the price tag?” Then he rudely responded “what” again like he was annoyed with me. I asked him AGAIN but he didn’t even answer me and he just took out the sensor, but price tag was still on though. This all happened while we were paying at the register, so I asked him “can you cut off the price tag for my toddler so he could wear them now?” Then he said very ignorantly, “You have to pay them first.” believe me this is exact words he used and he’s the manager and he even spoke without making eye contact as if he know he’s doing something wrong. I mean he could’ve done it better in a different way. He could’ve just said, “Let me help you with the payment first and I’ll cut off the price tag for you.” OR “ Can I help you with the payment first.” He could have done in a kind way like professionally. I got so angry I got to the point yelling at him saying, “can’t you just cut off the price tag?!!” I know I should’ve been calmly asked him if he can be kind to us but he crossed the line so I couldn’t hold back my anger and exploded 😅 I knew he was unpleasant to me from the very beginning and intentionally unkind to us. He got so offended that I yelled at him. It’s not right to yell at somebody but the way he speaks and behaves towards customers is really rude and unprofessional. He still did not apologize until the end. His way of speaking and acting seems like an uneducated person and he is very ignorant....
Read moreone of the employees I didn’t get the name of was weird and just really random. my mom asked if one of the bras she wanted was apart of the discount they were currently running, and he proceeded to say “depends on where you’re from” and just said some other stuff after that that I couldn’t fully catch and was just oddly unrelated. My mom is experienced with sales as she’s worked in new balance for years, so of course she understands when people try to make jokes but this wasn’t funny and could’ve been taken the wrong way, especially with everything going on in the world right now. it was just really awkward and after that we were looking at clothes and he was behind me, he said excuse me and I moved, he did not fit, and could not get out of the aisle on the other side. i was not aware of that until he proceeded to wait a good minute and a half and say excuse me again . it was just weird because if you couldn’t fit you could’ve just said excuse me a second time instead of waiting awkwardly like that. Very random and genuinely weird thing to do and say…. regardless of what he meant, that’s not an appropriate thing to...
Read moreBrian , assisted us and was super helpful. We bought $406 of merchandise thanks to him. However, I’m leaving a bad review because of Kenny at the front counter. He’s rude ! He did asked if we wanted to use 10% discount for signing up on the email and at first I said I wasn’t because my WiFi was spotty. However , I did manage it to work and then showed him the code. When I did, he had finished processing the transaction. I showed him the code and he got annoyed and told me You should have told me before ! I don’t mind the fact I made a mistake . It’s his reaction to a customer for unknown reasons . He offered a refund and then run the 10% which would have saved $40 . However because he showed such a discontent and desire to get rid of us we didn’t get the discount. Simply if you’re gonna have someone not understanding with customer , why even have him in...
