Nail Trix & Spa — Local services in Towson

This is the worst nail salon in the area. Please do not waste your time or money going there. I went there for a fill-in one day and I was told as the fill-in was getting filed off that I got done at my usual place was old acrylic and I needed to take it all off when I came back (if I ever came back) The fill-in and manicure I ended up getting my nails a day later looked like they were done by a preschooler later my usual nail place is crowded once again so I’m like let me just give them another. Try for a pedicure. I usually get but I opted for a solid color because I thought They can’t mess up a solid color pedicure. It’s very simple. Long story short, this pedicure is uneven my nails are filed, uneven, and the nail polish is completely uneven On my toes. Even worse when I went to pay, the woman told me to use the ATM, which I know was just a ploy so that When she gives me change back because clearly she would have to give me change back from an atm i would tip her. I don’t understand how people think you can give horrible service and get a tip for it. I will NEVER go back here. Oh! And the acrylic that’s on my big toe that she told me I didn’t need to fill in is now lifting up and it’s so painful all because she didn’t want to reapply it like I would usually get done at my usual nail salon. Avoid at all costs! I do not normally go here, and stopped in for a walk-in appt. They were the rudest women I have have encountered at a nail salon. Don’t waste your money. They have the smallest selection of dip powder colors and it was nearly impossible to get a sleeve of samples to choose from. The first technician asked me what color and I told her I wanted to look, but was thinking navy. There was no true navy so I selected more of a blue gray (#69 by their chart) come to find out, #69 is more of a royal blue, but she told me it would be darker after she applies multiple layers. Needless to say, it is till royal blue. She tried adding a purple to cover it up but that left my mail spotted in color. After an hour and 20 minutes I gave up and left with my tacky, unprofessional royal blue nails. She knew I was furious, but still charged me full price and yes I did tip her. And the overall job looks like my neighbor in 1st grade did it. I will NEVER be back. No wonder their competition across the street is...

First of all this place isn't far from my job, so I thought I'd stop by for a fill in. I walked in and was greeted poorly. Communication is a big thing for me, so half the time, I couldn't really understand what the nail techs were saying to me. My manicurist was Mai. As she cut my cuticles, she was actually cutting me with the the instrument. It felt terrible. There wasnt enough filing on each nail. She didnt even do the thing where they tuck the extra skin in so you dont get cut. Overall, the job felt lazy and rushed. I read some of the reviews after the job and realized that I've made a mistake. I noticed how many women were complaining about the gel peeling. I'm hoping that wont be the case with me, but after this service, they dont have to worry about me coming back. They weren't really friendly. The techs sort of acted like awkward teens. I've been to better places. Dont waste your time or money coming here. I'd rather drive far out to get excellent service, than terrible service for...
