This is by far the worst Sephora I go to but due to the fact that it’s the closest to me I go frequently. The customer service in the store is disgusting. Even when they’re not being hounded by a whole bunch of children, the staff in there I have noticed even though a lot of them are colored women themselves they don’t seem to help us colored women. As a rouge member, I’m constantly shopping at Sephora, but this store specifically makes me not want to spend money. Every single time that I have walked into Sephora for the past two months, I don’t even get greeted when I come in the store and I’ll walk past NUMEROUS employees. I also never get help unless I approached them. Now I know that might not seem like a lot to you guys, but within a two month span I probably going to Sephora at least eight times or more so it’s not coincidentally . My last time going into the Sephora, I was asking an employee for help when it came to foundation matching. I told her I was recently matched with a Dior foundation, which was too a little too light for me and she was like “ yea I don’t know”. And I left out empty-handed basically or I might’ve gotten something small and left. I honestly feel like if I was a white woman they would’ve pushed that sale. I had no budget and she could’ve pointed me into the direction of any foundation, but didn’t. She could’ve gotten a coworker who knew more about foundation, even though she was by the foundations but she didn’t. I deal with really bad social anxiety, so it takes a lot of energy for me to get to the point of speaking up for myself and saying something to an employee and after being ignored in the store for probably around 30 minutes I finally spoke to somebody and she genuinely didn’t care to help me. She literally just told me I had a yellow undertone and she just didn’t know how to help me. I will be going elsewhere beware ladies I’m telling you guys from experience as somebody who goes into the store and wearing Louis Vuitton, hair done looking put together, etc. It doesn’t matter that I have the income they see my skin color first and don’t help. Oh but everytime i go with my man they try to help I did...
Read moreThis location has been so unhelpful to a large degree that it screams negligence and disregard to the customer. I went into the store 8/9/2024 and purchased three items, all of which came up to $84 dollars, however when I got in my vehicle ready to go, I saw that 2/3 items in my bag were missing. Management has been very uncooperative and unkind with helping me figure out why these items we’re not in my bag AFTER telling me that the same thing happened to a customer the week beforehand at a satellite check out kiosk, which should say something if it happened twice in a row. I would frequent another business because they do not accommodate when you “suddenly” have missing items from your purchase.
Before I left the mall I was able to see that I didn’t have my stuff and immediately went back to the store and was met with a “we will review the footage and call you back” (which did not happen, and I had to call the store back on my own accord 30 minutes before close…) The lack of rectification of said situation is unacceptable and shows they don’t care about the customer or service given to them. So disappointed. Stay away from here.
Update: After reaching back to Sephora’s corporate office I was able to get a store credit to repurchase my missing items, but it’s a shame I even had to...
Read moreI had read some of the negative feedback and was intrepid about visiting this store but since they had a good bit of products I was looking for I went.
This is a 2 part review. My first visit was 6/24. I walked into the store and immedidately approached by a very friendly associate asking if I needed any assistance. I declined but over the next 10 mins I was 'gently' approached four more times (by different associates, all friendly and pleasant).
When I was finally ready for some help, Zayra was walking by and she jumped right in with helping me locate products I had seen on a Tati video on Youtube.
She also assisted helping me find the right shade of Sephora foundation. I told her I was just starting to get back into wearing makeup and she recommended a Full-Face Makeover. I set up an appointment for 6/29.
She was fabulous, she explained each product, ensuring she used the ones I had purchased on my previous visit and suggested a new eyeshadow pallet, eye brow gel, concealer, and tarte primer..I walked out of there feeling and looking like a new person. I was so pumped & went and cut off my waist length hair and ended up with a brand new me.
LOVED my experience there. Give it a try & if you have any issues, see the manager he was floating around and VERY...
