I went to this cheesecake location for my boyfriend and I’s anniversary. Once we got sat, we ordered our drinks and put in an appetizer for the spicy nachos. Our waitress said she would be back shortly to take our full order, however we proceeded to wait another 20 minutes after we got sat for her to come back to our table. We tried to get her attention several times since we had been sitting there for so long, but it almost seemed like she was avoiding our table. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, since she had a lot of tables and was obviously stressed. However, she never made an effort to come to our table, and when we managed to flag her down anything we asked for took another 10-15 minutes to come. Our appetizer came 45 minutes into us sitting down, and it wasn’t spicy chicken like we asked for. It still was delicious so we didn’t say anything. Our entrees came about an hour into sitting down, and needless to say we were very disappointed. The fettuccine with chicken tasted like it was straight from a can, and also was bland and not hot, like it had been sitting out for awhile. The fish and chips were so salty and tasted like you took a bite of a raw fish. We asked the waitress for some honey mustard to try to mask the flavor, and 15 minutes later she came back with bbq instead, and we had also finished our meals from her taking so long to bring it. At this point we were very ready to leave, so we asked the waitress for a box for our nachos and for the check. Another 15 minutes later she comes back without the box we asked for, and gives us the check. At this point we were so concerned with paying and leaving we didn’t notice her take the entree we wanted the box for and cleared the table. Our cheesecake that we asked for to go took another almost 20 minutes, not because it wasn’t ready, but because our waitress never went over to get it (we saw it sitting there). In total, we were at this restaurant waiting for almost two hours, and it was one of the worst experiences i’ve had to date. I love the Cheesecake Factory and this was supposed to be a special experience for our anniversary, but instead it turned out the...
Read moreUpdate…. When here for my wife’s birthday. Server took 20 minutes after we sat down and already ordered our drinks with another server to come over and introduce himself and take our food order. Then he disappeared for about another 45 minutes to an hour. I had to go to the bar to get my own refills and then he came back around. When asks for the food he said they’re still waiting on the steak and something else. The steak came to the table over cooked and dry. Some of the food came out cold. After all was said and done I was unhappy with my decision to visit this establishment again. I paid my check in cash and the server decided to walk up and ask did I not like the service to which I replied we waited to for a server for 20 minutes while I was ordering food from you, you walked away with no manners then when looking for you for refill we couldn’t find you and if we didn’t walk around to find you we wouldn’t have gotten our food. As he stood the and rolled his sleeves up looking for some type of rise or intimidation tactic I simply said it was terrible service. He then tells me this is all I get paid I then apologize to him and let him know you need to pay more attention to the clients in the seats. I understand your under staffed and commend you for helping your team but at the end if I have to do everything my self or find people other than you to assist why should I leave a huge tip? Kaleb please choose your path wisely. The service you are there to provide can make someone’s day or break the spirit. With the service you delivered to my family especially my wife on her birthday was completely useless. I couldn’t even find you to tell he it was her birthday and she didn’t get the whole candle in the cake thing because of your poor service.
Came to the restaurant with family and felt racially profiled. Manager constantly walking around us. Not very kid friendly if your african American. Please dont visit this place if your looking for a...
Read moreCheesecake Factory used to be good. Over the years, I've experienced a decline in Cheesecake options and portions as well as the quality of the food. A hit or miss. I don't go as much as I use to for those very reasons. I went to The Towson, Md location on 9/7/2023 and it was a miss. I ordered the Crusted Chicken Romano, haven't had it in years it was one of several items that I ordered years ago. I also got the Oreo Cheese Cake ( free) for signing up for The Rewards Program. The Crusted Chicken Romano was dry, although I requested extra sauce on the side, and the food was very bland. I received wheat bread, no butter. Their butter use to be sweet and was good on the bread. It was a carryout order. I did check it before leaving but missed that I didn't have butter. I noticed that both units that housed the cheesecake had moisture on the display, I forget the term for it but it normally fogs up when the temps are not correct or when the cooling unit is faulty or failing. I started to inquire but changed my mind. When I got home, which is a 10 minute ride, my cheesecake was split in half due to the storage temp, I assume. Also, I do believe that because it was a free slice, that had to be the reason that it was more like a sliver that they now charge $ 10.50. When I started going to The Cheesecake Factory many, many years ago the slices where HUGE and they were $5.95. Yes, I realize it's a new day, but the sizes and prices are ridiculous. I changed my preferred cheesecake to the Lemoncello because it was a larger cake and it use to take up the whole carryout clear plastic container, then they changed it to a smaller slice that fit in the smaller container before they eventually discontinued it. I'm due for another free slice for my birthday, so I'll go back and see if I get a real slice or if free is really only a sliver. Definitely, not like it use to be and not on my list of favorite...
