It was my cousins 30th bday dinner this past Saturday so I drove from Charlotte North Carolina to Baltimore for this dinner it was a disaster to say the least! Everyone’s food came out wrong my cousin the bday girl didn’t get the steak she ordered the food came out cold steaks came out well done that were suppose to be medium the fries were cold broccoli and apsargus was cold the server Amy b didn’t know what was going on she never checked back after our food was delivered by other servers or food runners . We had to send the sides that were cold back but they were never returned to the table my friends fish tacos took a hour and a half when she ordered first . We never got more bread our drinks were never delivered waters not refilled we had to find a manager because all the server kept saying was the kitchen was too backed up and that other servers were stealing our food that was sent back to get warmed up . The manager helped a little but it was frustrating because the server had more excuses than anything she didn’t know who ordered what the food was auctioned off to us we never got our alcoholic beverages we ordered she didn’t even know the menu we were ordering ahi tuna she kept trying to tell us the only ahi they had was in the shape of a tower and were like no the ahi dinner she told me there’s no such dinner went and got the menu read it to herself than was like your right at that point my fiancé was like should I even order this since she don’t know it’s even on the menu . We didn’t get drinks had to go find silverware she never suggested a drink a app all she suggested was that your restaurant was under staffed In the kitchen and on the floor I even asked why not go on a wait until ya kitchen and servers have a chance to catch up the server said she didn’t know I just felt like she didn’t know anything that night !!! When we got our check there was a 18 percent gratuity on there that Amy said could not be takin off because we were a party of 7 I was so ready to leave I didn’t feel like continuing an argument and said I’ll just call corporate later how can u by law charge someone gratuity on such bad service I usually tip 30 percent ! If this was all about the food it wouldn’t be a problem but this was the worse service I’ve ever received she didn’t even card for the drinks that did make it to the table and me and my cousin were the only ones over 25 ! I’ll never go back there and have never had that problem anywhere I told my cousin next year we’ll step it up and go to McCormick and schmick she’s always come there for her bday dinner she always get the coffee steak she ordered it it came with steak butter she told Amy it didn’t look like what she normally gets any told her that it was indeed the coffee steak but a hour later the manager informed us the coffe steak doesn’t come with butter and bought out the right steak all the dishes set in front of us for damn near 2 hours no pre bussing no can I box that for you or bring you a box we were forced to pay the gratuity because Amy said she couldn’t take it off smh terrible terrible service and I just felt like she knew she was getting 18percent so she could care less what kind of service she gave she got her 50 dollars we left hungry even tho the manager tried to rectify the situation we already waited a hour and a half before she came and the only reason she came is drop off the asparagus that took so long my cousin no longer wanted it so that goes to show you Amy didn’t even tell her own manager all the problems we were having she would’ve let us leave without talking to any...
Read moreA friend and I visited this location yesterday around 3:30p.m. We were seated, our orders were taken, and we received our drinks relatively quickly. I ordered the $27 N.Y. strip and fries, and my friend ordered the french onion soup (the bread was burnt on the bottom, giving the soup a burnt taste) and a side of fries. I ordered my steak well done and upon receiving it promptly cut it down the middle. The steak was nowhere near well done as it was almost completely dark pink in the middle. I notified the waitress and she took it away. After a long wait, I was brought back the exact same steak that I cut in half by a different woman (I learned later that she was the manager). She brought me the same two (now completely dry and juiceless as the steak had been cut) steak halves that I originally sent back, only this time it was also completely charred and burnt. Of course, this was sent back as well. Finding this completely unacceptable, I asked if there was a way I could receive a discount or free dessert in exchange for the trouble. The manager did not give me an answer to my question before taking away the steak. While we were waiting, the waitress came to check on us. I, again, expressed that I would like a discount or something as recompense for the issues. She informed me that she would speak to the manager about it. After another exceedingly long wait, I was brought a steak that was obviously smaller than the previous one. When I cut into the steak, it was "done" but there was no juice and the steak itself had no flavor besides a boiled taste. The boiled taste, lack of juice, size and texture of the steak lead me to believe that it was thrown in the microwave for a few minutes before kissed on the grill to achieve grill marks. After the ridiculous amount of difficulty and the obscene wait (the sun literally went down before I actually received the steak), the cost of the steak and fries ($27) was comped. I appreciate management owning up to some of the restaurant's mistakes and the waitress was very nice and attentive, but I wouldn't go back to this restaurant if I were paid...
Read moreSunday started off amazing. Our reservation for 11 people was reserved a week early and it was confirmed through a text received from the restaurant the night before. Everything after that was downhill. We arrived on time and some family members were already there getting drinks from bar ahead of others. We were immediately seated and began talking with each other not even noticing it was 45 minutes and no one had come to table for a drink or appetizer order. We finally alerted the greeter and she said someone will be right over. The restaurant at this time had a Sunday Brunch menu but it was still basically empty, maybe 5 or 6 other tables of 3 to 5 people. The waitress finally came over and was pleasant and apologetic saying she was so busy with other tables. (Although it was empty) she took drink and appetizer orders. Food was also ordered for kids at this time as they were hungry. Drinks and appetizers came out as well as water and drinks but no kids food. Then there was another 30 to 40 minute wait. We had been sitting at this time over 2 hours and hadn't ordered food. We finally placed our food orders and reminded the waitress about the kids orders that never came out. 20 minutes later she came back and said one of the items that 3 people ordered from the brunch menu was not avaliable and she walked away. Then food for 1 adult came out to our table and we realized it wasn't what she ordered. It was actually for another table. 3 hours there now the waitress came back to table to get orders from 2 of the 3 people whose 1st choice item was unavailable. She missed the 3rd person. From this point on we never saw the waitress again. We asked the greeter to speak with the manager. We then canceled our food and paid for our drinks and appetizers. There was no remorse from anyone there and we left and went next door to Cheesecake Factory which was super busy but the service...
