Update: Monday I asked for a Kurt Geiger purse that was locked up, and a nice sales lady (caucasion) in shoes called for help. She said the person would take my name and hold it at the counter, so I could continue shopping. Consequently, this rude African-American woman arrived, gruffly asked me which purse as she rolled her eyes and sighed, then turned and marched away stating that it would be at the register. She never asked my name, and she never took the purse to the register. I saw her again, standing around complaining with an older African-American employee. In addition, the store is looking more and more like Marshalls. Where did all the true designer shoes go? Needless to say, I won't be back anytime soon!
I'm happy to report that this Nordstrom Rack has improved since my last review. They have added more high-end designer clothing, and they have added luxury shoes! If one is lucky, he or she may even find a deeply discounted item. Some of the deeply discounted luxury shoe brands are inaccurately sized; therefore, I recommend checking all of the racks, and trying on anything attractive that looks like it may fit. There are also deeply discounted luxury shoes labeled as "worn and refinished", which are like new, at a fraction of the cost. There is one particular sales lady in shoes who is awesome and may be a supervisor. She is very friendly and helpful, and I value her honest opinion every time I see her. (I will add her name when I run into her again). Though the check-out line can be long, customers are served within a timely manner. The guy in the cafe is also nice, though $5 for an Apple Fritter is ridiculous.
My cons, I was shocked when employees said that they are allowed to purchase shoes before they are put on the floor for customers; thus, no customer has a chance to purchase any of the Louboutin shoes that come to the Rack. The designer handbag section upstairs is still not desirable for professional women. On ocassion, the sales women in Collections can be quite haughty: ignoring customers and walking by, without offering assistance, as if they can visually determine who can and cannot afford to shop. One sales lady came out of the back room, looked at me, and then went back in and shut the door. ...
Read moreAmazing sometimes I hate going there because I simply spend way too much money. You can find last year's items that are outdated bye last year's definition that would normally go for hundreds of dollars in the upstairs part of the Nordstrom's that they will sell in the basement area which they call the rack 4 half-price sometimes even less. But be warned though you will save money you will find so many things that you will love like and want to buy that though you save so much and get such a great deal on top of the line more expensive products you will spend more because you will want to justify spending more for saving War before you know it your bill will rack up just like the name LOL and you will walk out with a smile on your face bags full of s* and in addition a long receipt for $1,000 if you don't stay mindful and allow yourself to go overboard. I love the rack I should probably give it a horrible rating as to keep all these awesome deals and great secrets to myself but I figure someone will tell you eventually so I might as well be a good samaritan and hopefully instead of losing good finds that I might, crossed by telling you you can get rid of the sizes I would normally need to fish and search through to find the good stuff that fits me making it easier for me to find stuff...
Read morethe floor saleswoman/men rarely say hello or even smile and don't even ask if you need assistance. I didnt mind it so much seeing that it's such a big store. What really made me upset was the Dior saleswoman they picked to repersent the store and that brand. She was so pushy and fake with those compliments that just came across not too genuine just to get a sale. I have no problem buying expensive products but i want to feel like its worth the money. The lip colors she kept picking for me were not the best and didnt even bring me over to the actual display to look at the different colors. The thing that really made me mad was she just wouldnt tell me a price asked for my card with out giving me a total. Ive been in highend stores where they still tell you your total even if its 7000! The total ended up being 600 but honestly i couldnt trust the lady enough to tell if she had the best intentions for my skin. I bought one product that i personally picked out and went to macys the following week in Philadelphia and had a much better experince with the dior sales team who explained their products with detail and understanding of the...
