Good luck trying to return anything here!
Bought a cell phone plan here. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, no issues the first time. However afterwards when looking at the bill I determined it was a bit more than I could afford, so I decided to return it after 3 days (14 day return policy). I told the employee my reason for returning it and he got defensive right away for some reason, saying he informed me about all the fees. I wasn't disputing that but whatever. He looks over the phone and says he can't accept the return because of 'micro-scratches'. What? I've had it for 3 days and while I didn't have a screen protector yet because I was waiting for it in the mail, I was extremely careful when handling it.
I took the phone back and decided to take a good look at it. No matter what angle or what I used to see where the scratches are, I couldn't find any. I decided to take it to a different Verizon store to see what they had to say. They agreed with me, they said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the phone and I shouldn't have any trouble returning it. Unfortunately because I got the phone through Team Wireless instead of Verizon directly I couldn't return it at that other store.
I returned to Team Wireless and had a different employee (who I think was the manager) take a look at it. I informed them of what the Verizon store said and gave them the store's location so that they could verify what they said. They denied my return again, citing the phantom 'micro-scratches'. They said that if I had purchased a screen protector from them I wouldn't have had a problem. Excuse me? Since when was I required to purchase an overpriced screen protector to return something? It wasn't even scratched!
I decided to verify again with a different retailer. I went to the cell phone kiosk in Costco and they also said there was nothing wrong with the phone. Confirmed by TWO different retailers that there were no scratches. I believe this is a malicious act by Team Wireless. I tried going on their website to contact higher ups and there was no phone number. Great. There was a number on their Facebook group but they never picked up. Terrible customer service and no online customer support.
Be smart and spend your money elsewhere because if you need a return I guarantee this place will give...
Read moreGood evening, I wish I could make your day however, my experience in your store was as follows. I walked in. There was one other customer so I approached the busy at his computer and he answered all my questions until the other employee interrupted. I Understand he needed his question answered, but shouldn’t be customers answer come quicker. He didn’t ask for his question. That’s the proper way to handle that situation. However the person employee that was helping me was.. And then I forgot my question. I proceeded to remember, and he out me. I think he was the manager of that branch. I’m not sure. I understand the urgency of his question but he should not interrupt a sale. I ended up buying an accessory that I hope will help me tremendously. It was worth the $50. I spent there and I did meet the employee then I left A satisfied customer. I shouldn’t have to wait for another employees question to be answered and it was a long one. This is not a complaint. I understand you’re busy but with two customers and two employees there should never be a wait. I’m not sure if I’m narck or not, just informing. Hope this is worth the store if I ever by something at the location when I’m required to go to a noncorporated branch. You have very good coverage in Northern...
Read moreWent to upgrade the end of June from my Motorola phone that is shatterproof. Dakota upgraded me to the newer version but NEVER mentioned they took the shatterproof off the new model. I specifically said I want to upgrade to the newer shatterproof phone and he never mentioned it wasn't shatterproof anymore. A few days later the phone shattered. I called and told him and he still didn't mention it wasn't shatterproof and told me I'd have a deductible that I didn't pay yet because I didn't think a shatterproof phone was supposed to front and back shatter. Finally after calling Motorola to complain today I was told the phone I was sold wasn't shatterproof. Called and spoke to the manager of the Team wireless and she told me she has no way to prove he said that and they can't do anything for me. I can't get a replacement, I can't even get something not refurbished paying the insurance fee. Was told if I want into a new phone I'd need to payoff the phone I was falsely advertised that was shatterproof first before I can get a new one. Guess I'm buying a new phone elsewhere and having the actual Verizon location that told me after all of this they have nothing to do with Team wireless locations...
