🔥 K-Pocha Traverse City – Where K-Food Meets K-Freakin’-Awesome 🔥

Listen, I didn’t know I needed a Cheeto/Dorito-covered corn dog in my life until K-Pocha made it a spiritual experience. Traverse City, you beautiful food-loving weirdo, you’ve outdone yourself.

Walked into K-Pocha with the wife, ready to try something new and maybe a little chaotic. I saw “Cheeto/Dorito corn dog” on the menu and blacked out for a second from pure excitement. Crunchy, cheesy, sweet, salty, ridiculous — like a State Fair and Seoul had a love child.

My wife went with their signature corn dog, which was classy, crispy, and disappeared before I could sneak a bite. That’s how I know it was legit.

We split the loaded fries because obviously — if you’re gonna do this, go big or go back to your sad salad. These fries were no joke: melty, meaty, spicy, savory… a glorious mess in the best way possible.

Highlights: • Atmosphere: Trendy but chill. Great music, good vibes. • Staff: Friendly, helpful, and didn’t judge me for drooling on the counter. • Food: Off-the-wall fantastic. Think comfort food if comfort food had a wild K-pop phase.

Pro tip: Don’t wear white. You’re gonna get saucy.

Final verdict: 13/10. Would eat again. Would fight someone for the last...

I had the chance to try their food a day before they were open due to an invitation through friend and family, I am very picky when it come to Asian food because I’ve been around And Tried many Korean Restaurant. So when I heard something like this opened in Traverse city I honestly didn’t have high hopes for it. Thinking it’s going to be Americanized version of Korean food. But I was completely wrong My little brother and I got the combo A and B, We both got a corndog And I have some wings my brother got the rice cake. I was extremely surprised By how good an authentic The flavor was. The Chicken wings was beyond good With crispy texture and the right amount of sauce. I cannot complain. Also, the waitress who took our order Was very friendly and Helping us out with the order. Overall, I would get this place a 10 out of 10. And I would definitely be back and be a loyal...

I can't say enough nice things about the food here, or the staff. So far I have tried the Beef BiBimBop, Kim Chi Fried Rice with Pork Belly, Spicy Ramen and their wings. Every one of these was absolutely incredible. The price may seem a bit high, but the portions are beyond generous, and the quality is exceptional. You could easily share any of the large plate orders with a friend, or get two meals out if it, so the price feels fair to me. The only problem is they are not closer to down town. Please! Make the effort to get over to see them, and try them out. We are so lucky to have them here, and I hope they remain a permanent fixture of our town. Also, their online menu doesn't mention it, but you can substitute beef, pork, tempura shrimp or tofu for most of the...

the inside is very cute and bright while feeling open in the space. the people were so kind. the owner was personable and energetic. the food was *chefs kiss* absolutely delicious! i got bibimbap that tastes fresh and the combo of flavors danced in my mouth lol. i got a passion fruit limeade with tropical jellies, which reminded me of my tita’s drink she makes for the kids. i also got this cheese filled skewer, which i didn’t think of getting at first, but i’m so happy i did! i wish i recorded the cheese pull on it! with the flavor of seasoning and dried dough combo, every bite was an experience! 20/10 recommend. i’m very excited for them to be in Holland area🫰🏼

Gave the food in general a 4-star due to how amazing the dishes in taste are. The rice was not as hot as I somewhat imagined, as the bowls are not made of stone, as they wouldn't have the crispy bottom layer. The service was very friendly & the employees are knowledgeable about the menu & will suggest or recommend what dishes would follow your dietary restrictions. The atmosphere was bustling, and K-Pocha did have kiosks for customers to order ahead of time while being simple & wonderful. Respectively, I would suggest going here on a hungry stomach as the bowls and the corn dogs will fill you up or may leave food still in your bowls.
