The chicken pho is amazing and similar to the pho I would have in Seattle. The fresh rolls are so delicious.
The service is weird. It's hybrid table service. You get your own drinks, but they have table service - unless it gets busy. I came in today, and it was quiet, and the woman taking orders was so lovely much mote chill than the other guy. I feel like I am at my friend's house; her grandmother makes the best pho.
I suggest you order, pay, and have it brought to your table or in a bag for to go when it gets busy. They should have the menu on the TV screen. We don't need to watch Bob Ross with our pho. Although, it was kind of cute. Maybe some background music.
Also, I am dying to know what is going on behind the secret Boba tea frosted windows.
Staff should consider putting phones on vibrate.
Try the homemade spicy sauce with all the salt and pepper and spices near the soda machine. It is so good. There is also Siracha.
Best part of pho is that it is gluten free.
It's really good but a little pricey. It is consistent with TC pricing, which is the same or higher than the nicer areas of the Seattle metro areas on the eastside like Bellevue, Sammamish, Medina. The pho...
Read moreMy wife and I are doing a Michigan vacation trip and Traverse City was our last visit before heading back to Wisconsin. We have had Pho along the way from Chicago to Detriot to the suburbs of Detroit and the pho has been nothing but average. We both decided to have asian food again here and landed on this place. Pho hasn't been great along the way but we've decided to give it another try. Who would pass up pho? That's usually what we want to eat every other day. We placed a to-go order for a combination and chicken pho, egg rolls, and grilled chicken with rice but they were out of the chicken so we got the pork. It was pricey but I already expected this in a high tourist attraction area along with all the inflation. My wife and I agreed that this pho was really good and beat all the other pho places we ate along the way. The broth was rich in flavors, the veggies were fresh, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Remember, we had this to go so we had to mix everything together. The grilled pork and rice was also rich in flavor and really good. The eggroll was good and about average. The portions can be larger for the price but I would gladly take quality over...
Read moreExcellent Vietnamese food! Ok, our perspective might have been skewed after eating the disappointing Good Bowl the night before. It is solid Vietnamese food. TC has a very limited menu – 1 page with 16 items plus a few beverages. The prices are affordable, the portions are generous and the food is tasty. We ordered to go: #4 pho dac biet = house combination pho $19 8 pho cho tre em = kid pho beef noodle soup $10 #10 bun heo nuong & cha gio = grilled pork meat with eggroll vermicelli bowl $16 #11 goi cuon = Vietnamese summer rolls (2) with shrimp $6 #15 tom nuong = grilled shrimp rice $16 boba milk tea The rare steak was rare, the brisket was ok, the summer rolls and the grilled pork were good. The broth for the 2 pho soups was delicious and were packaged separately as they should be. We had a proper size helping of pho rice noodles, vermicelli and rice. The herbs, vegetables and salad were fresh. We were happy with full bellies and would...
