Paoli Village Shoppes — Local services in Tredyffrin Township

Please note - this in no way is a review of the shops INSIDE of the plaza - I choose to write this in response to how I was treated by a man I assume in some way owns or manages this property.

I arrived in the plaza, parked my car, and went into TJ's (which is a fabulous place to eat!) and enjoyed my meal as I always do. As I was leaving TJ's I made the decision to take a few minutes to cross the street and purchase a small gift for a family member's birthday. As I went to cross the street, a man who was sitting on the sidewalk started screaming at me to "Not even think about "f*ing doing it". Confused, I looked around and noted he was directing a tow truck to take people's cars. Apparently, there was some event in the city and people were parking there and taking the train in.

While I understand the frustration that patrons may not have been able to use the parking spots I WAS a patron and the manner and tone that he addressed me with after making a completely inaccurate assumption were abhorrent. Not only did he cuss at me, he then threatened to tow my car without bothering to speak with me or politely request that I move the car if I was going to leave the plaza. Not to mention the fact that I had JUST spent my hard earned money supporting a popular business which I assume pays him rent. Out of nowhere I felt attacked, harassed, and I was shocked by how I was treated. Sadly, this has impacted my decision to frequent TJ's in the future as I don't feel comfortable setting foot on the property.

Paoli Village Shoppes is a great shopping center! First off, the property is kept in great condition----there's always nice foliage and clean storefronts and sidewalk areas.

There's a lot of great places to check out here. I like shopping at Plato's Closet and grabbing something to eat at TJ's, Primos, or Nudy's. I'm excited to try Skinny Pizza now...
