I love Crumbl Cookie as a splurge for my daughter. With tests on her second day of school (August 27), I thought she could use a little pick-me-up, so I swung by Crumbl in Wayne, after grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s. I’ve previously been to the Crumbl(s) in Exton, Ellis Preserve & Glen Mills - all with excellent experiences. Unfortunately, Wayne was an extremely disappointingly different experience: no greeting when entering, cookie was handed to me abruptly in a closed box (opened the box myself as I exited the store to ensure it was the right flavor and thought it looked smaller than usual and “well done”). I should have returned it at that point, but I told myself I was imagining it since I never had a bad experience before. Got home and gave the cute pink box to my daughter who was thrilled for the luxurious afterschool snack…until she crunched into her first bite. “You tricked me! What kind of cookie is this?” I told her about the new location that I’d tried and we vowed to never go there again. A couple weeks later, and several Trader Joe visits later, I decided to email the store directly to tell them about my experience so they would know that they lost a (potential) regular customer. I never received any response...
Read moreCrumbl Cookies at Gateway Shopping Center is such a fun stop whenever you’re craving something sweet and over-the-top. The smell hits you the second you walk in, and it’s impossible not to smile seeing all those big, colorful cookies lined up. The weekly rotating menu keeps things interesting — every visit feels like a surprise with new flavors to try alongside the classics. The cookies are huge, rich, and soft in the center, just how they should be!
The staff here are always upbeat and quick to help if you’re not sure what to pick first (which happens a lot). The store is clean, bright, and has that cozy pink aesthetic that fits perfectly with their vibe. Their app and rewards program make the experience even better — you earn points for each purchase, which add up for free cookies down the line. Great spot for a midweek treat or to pick up a...
Read moreWe love crumble cookie but don’t have one near us so anytime we travel we try and find one. We went into the one in Wayne this evening, and I have never had such rude customer service anywhere. As soon as we walked in the door the young lady behind the counter snapped at us stating they only had one kind of cookie left then walked toward the back, when asked any other questions she responded very rudely. Stated they were closing in 30 minutes and it was Saturday so of course they were almost out of cookies. The door stated they were open until midnight but she said NOPE we close at 10. I was disappointed and honestly appalled at the whole experience. Didn’t even walk to the counter to take an order or ask us if we’d like help. We ended up leaving without...
