Under new management for about a year now, the store has changed a lot. The new owners are not local or ranchers and most of the people who traded at Stubbs have moved on accordingly. If you stop in now it is possible they will have what you need but many times they won’t. They have also made a significant change to the profit margins and store hours. Don’t show up early because they will not be there. Sell less for more so you don’t have to work as hard is definitely a business model, but it wasn’t Mr Lyle Stubbs’s business model.

Mr. Stubbs is a hometown hero. He has done just about everything here in Trinity and his chemical and feed store is a one stop shop for livestock and home maintenance items. He always gives a fair price and not only knows everything he sells, but also what makes it the best option based on your needs. Had a mix up with my sweet feed and this was the second time it happened. I did not call the last time, but I did this time. We figured out the issue and the gentleman apologized and said they wanted to make it right. He sent one of his guys out to my place to deliver 2 bags. That is customer service that you rarely receive anymore. They are always so helpful and polite every trip. It really is the main reason I enjoy going there. I love Stubbs. The people (old owners & new) are funny, friendly, and extremely helpful. Feed prices are much lower than Tractor Supply. I also love that after you order they bring it all to your car with a dolly which is extremely helpful and another reason I won’t go to tractor supply.
