This is the BEST Indian boutique I’ve found in Michigan! I went after a failed online order attempt and had only 5 days to find a replacement. They are the cutest shop owners who are so wonderful and really came through for me. They treat you like family from the moment you step in and have perfected that personal touch. They have a huge selection at varying price points and styles. I’m very particular so I have always bought custom orders but Narinder and Madhu spent over an hour with me to find my perfect gown. This gown turned out better than what I had originally ordered custom.

The fabric quality, stone-work, and embroidery are some of the best I’ve seen – even compared to India. They even have complimentary alterations and completed my gown the next day – where can you even find that anymore?! I had come in on my birthday and mentioned it in passing as I was so elated to find my new outfit, I thought this was awesome luck. To my surprise, the owners gave me a beautiful gift as I was leaving!

I’m so so so excited to be back to purchase the rest of my wardrobe for the following wedding event. I couldn’t have walked away happier. Do yourself a favor and come here first. I was very disappointed with my experience at Sanskriti Fashion. I am a bride looking for a 2 piece outfit to wear to my henna party. I came to Sanskriti to find something I may be interested in. This is not my first time buying a henna outfit so I am well aware of how expensive they can be. I found a 2 piece outfit that I thought was beautiful but it wasn't the color I wanted. I asked if they could order the outfit in the color I wanted and the person helping me didn't give me a straight answer. I had asked if I could try on the one they had so if I liked the $800 outfit, then I could just buy it. The gentlemen looked at me and said you aren't going to buy it you can't try it on with such a rude attitude! I couldn't believe he said that. I have been to multiple places looking for a gown like the one I found there and everywhere else that I went the workers were so pleasant with assisting me putting the outfits on! I am not a window shopper, I did not come to your store because I am bored out of my mind and want to try on Indian clothing. I came to make a purchase! I would like to try on an $800 outfit to see how it looks before I buy it! I walked out of there because I would NEVER give a place like that my business. I have nothing but great things to say about this place! I have been desperate for a place to buy Indian clothes locally after having negative experiences from online retailers and very unprofessional behavior from other Indian stores in the area. I took a chance and called Sanskriti: they always pick up their phones during their business hours and will patiently answer any questions or concerns you may have when shopping. Sanskriti Fashions always stay up to date on their business hours-if they say they open at 11 am, they will be there at 11 am. I also never felt pressured to purchase anything from their store when shopping which is very refreshing.

Both uncle and auntie were very professional, kind, and the store is well kept and very clean. The store has a fitting room, carries sizes up to 3 or 4 XL, and you can also get things custom ordered. They carry both mens and women's attire as well as jewelry. They provide in-house tailoring for free if you buy from them. I found their prices very reasonable, and easily competes with the online websites where you are stuck taking your own measurements. I purchased multiple items and they were tailored perfectly!
