We’ve been to several of the indoor play places in the area and this was our worst experience at any of them. It was obvious the parents had no interest in supervising their children. Multiple children were going down the slide in a chain, several of them getting hurt,0 but no one stopped it. Pre-schoolers were pushing and shoving toddlers on the play structure, snatching toys from other kids, and hitting each other with no parental supervision. My son was playing with a wagon and another child repeatedly tried to take it from him and then sat in the wagon so he couldn’t move it. I asked the child to let my son play but he wouldn’t move, their parent never got up to help, and the woman at the front desk who was right next to us when this was happening did nothing to help. The last straw was when my son was rolling a toy train down the slide and the woman at the desk told me he couldn’t do that (that’s not a problem, although it’s not posted in the rules per their website, I’d rather be safe if it’s an issue.) What bothered me was that there was a child eating pretzels right next to where my son was and nothing was said to them nor did the woman say anything to the children who had magnatiles and other toys on the play structure, which I would think would be a safety concern seeing as how there were children running up there and could have easily tripped on the toys. If I could have given zero stars I would have. There’s clearly no concern for safety or supervision by the employee working or most of the parents. I’d suggest the employee working walk around every once in awhile and address all of the safety concerns going on...
Read moreThis was our first visit to Timber and Bow. It was easy to get signed up, not crazy expensive, and the rules were straightforward and made sense. There were cubbies along one wall to hold shoes and the inevitable host of items that come along with toddlers, and a snack area with tables and chairs right next to the play area. It was nice to have a spot to sit down while still being close enough to keep an eye on my kid. It's a beautiful play area where kids of all different developmental stages will find plenty to do. My kiddo played hard there for two hours straight and did not want to stop. Be aware that it can get very loud and chaotic, depending on how many kiddos are running around, since it is a playground after all. I was really impressed by the thoughtful arrangement and accommodations in the bathroom; there's a flip-down potty training seat for little ones, steps for the sink so toddlers can reach to wash hands, there's a seat to hold littles while mom or dad uses the bathroom or changes a baby diaper, and there's a changing table with necessities stocked. Bathroom trips have never been easier. I highly recommend this...
Read moreIt is too expensive for an hour or so of play. If your little one can spend longer playing, then maybe you will get your money's worth. It is a nice and clean facility. I would say it's appropriate for children up to age 4. The following is not necessarily the business' fault, but worth noting and plays into the rating: I find it to be too busy certain days and times. It is too small for so many children to be running around and the parents are crowding the table area, to where it's hard to get up and down and through to your child after sitting down at the table. Some of the parents/caregivers aren't trying to watch their children and thus aren't there to correct or reprimand their children when they hit/kick or break the rules that are posted. My toddler was kicked and I had no idea what happened until it happened to another child. I haven't seen an employee intervene at any point, and I've watched a lot of kids do things that are unsafe, etc. On days where it isn't busy, it is a much better experience, but due to the price increase recently, we likely won't be back. $20 for 2 toddlers for an hour or so worth of play isn't...
