So, I completely take back about what I said about French Run apartments. It may be a good, quiet place to stay. But they obviously don't care that much about their tenants or their health. I've complained to management and the owners of the property about the cigarette smoke smell that has been leaking inside of my apartment and the "best" thing they had to offer was sealing the holes and cracks under the bathroom sink with caulk and expanding foam. Unfortunately, that didn't work or help at all. I'm an asthmatic. And the strong smell of cigarettes or marijuana really messes with my breathing. They've said, "your building is designated as non-smoking. I will be sending a notice to all residents reiterating that smoking is not permitted inside the units. However, please note that tenants are allowed to smoke on their decks or patios."
Though Section 17 of the lease agreement says, "The Premises is located in the Smoke-Free Zone. Therefore, neither Tenant, Tenant's guests, invitees, nor any other person shall be allowed to smoke in the Premises or anywhere on the Property within the Smoke-Free Zone." So that includes the walkways, airways, patios/balconies, parking lot, and inside of the building. No smoking is allowed near the designated non-smoking buildings. There's also a big sign in the hallway by the doors that tells the tenants that the building is a designated non-smoking building.. so no smoking AT ALL! I had to buy Zep Smoke Odor Eliminator to help with the cigarette smoke smell.. and it helps a little bit.. but not really.
So the only thing they're going to do is print out some pieces of paper with a reminder written on them to remind the tenants not to smoke inside of the building or in their apartment.
Thank you French Run.. for not caring about your tenants or...

We moved on January 2024 when the manager named Traci was there. The first few months everything was perfect but in the mid of the year after the management has changed things changed instantly. The new manager with the new management named Corla was the rudest person that I have ever met.
We had a lot of issues in that place. I will try to mention some. Our AC was not working in the summer time when the temperature was vey high but they keep coming and measuring the house even though they knowⁿ our house temperature was more than 80 we waited 7 days to solve that issue.
Other issue there was a sudden leak coming on the floor by the entrace door in our living room where the furnace was located so the carpet was all wet for several days and the color of that area was changed so the maintenance guy came checked and said there is a leak coming from down but they don't even treat it well. It really disgusts me to step by so I keep calling and requesting service for that area but the manager keep ignoring our issue even though I told her that I have kids who crawl around. She really doesn't care for the health and concern of the tenants. She treats us very bad even disrespect us .She just leave us to live with all this concern for months until our lease ends.
So from my experience it is not worthy to move to this place as the rental price is quite expensive and utilities is also expensive. We used to pay electric bill not below 300, water bill not below 100, gas is high. For this amout of monthly expense I don't want anyone to go there and...
Read moreMy boyfriend moved into this complex 2 years ago and while it is a bit older I love the charm that comes with this home. During his first year there, he and his room mate shared a 2 bedroom in a secured building, which was nice because it felt safe and secure. The halls were heated and cooled for the temperature outside. There never were too many issues with the apartment and when there was all of our requests were dealt with within the first 24 hours, after they lived there for a year together my boyfriend and I decided it was time to get a place together. At first we started looking at other complexes but we were never happy with what we saw, heard, or read and kept comparing them to French Run. We decided we didn’t want to go anywhere and we’re delighted to find that they had a 2 bedroom condo available with a garage and small back yard space ready for us to move into. We’re so happy to be growing our relationship here, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Vicki the property manager has always been very attentive and has a great sense of humor, if your looking for a smile she’s definitely the person to talk to. Garry the maintenance tech is always on top of his work and I often see him picking up trash to keep the community looking good. I love that they encourage you to make the space your own and even allowed us to personalize our back yard space. I have recommended this complex to many of my friends and family and will continue to do so. If your looking for a smaller, close knit community with a great staff this is definitely the...
