Swensons Drive-In — Restaurant in Truro Township

the food is amazing, we come here everytime we visit the area. and usually the service is great, but this time we had a girl named makayla and she was super rude. before we could finish parking (we were literally in reverse still rolling backwards into the spot) she ran up to our window wanting us to move spots and order. we didn’t even get to look at the menu, she immediately wanted our order. luckily we get the same thing everytime so we knew what we wanted. she comes back with our food on a tray, we kindly declined the tray because we didn’t want to leave our window down. we were outside in the heat at a big car show for the past 8 hours, we wanted to be in our car with the AC on full blast. she was very judgmental and baffled that we didn’t want the tray. and when she asked if we wanted her to collect our trash and said if we use the tray we can put our trash on it for her to take, we declined again. we said we could take care of our own trash, you’d think a person would be happy we’re giving them less work to do, apparently not this girl. people who can’t be kind should not be in...

Bring a good book or a difficult puzzle while you wait. The food is fine. Nothing special, but it will take at least 20 minutes to appear in front of your eyes. Been here two times and both times the service was terrible.

There was a guy in a truck that we tried to "warn" about the service, but he got out, complained, took a better parking spot, and nothing changed. Nobody came to take his order so he left. It was only funny because we kind of knew it was going to happen. He waved goodbye as he slow pulled away. Free entertainment.

BAD SIGN #1: the staff are busy sweeping and mopping with an hour before closing instead of taking orders. BAD SIGN #2: when they do take your order they also give you a Post Office Forwarding Address Request (because it will take so long that's the only way to get your mail). BAD SIGN #3: there are abandoned cars with skeletons inside, but all of the cars are from the 1950's.

Today I was at your location on Main Street in Columbus Ohio. I was the first customer there. The waiter came and took my order 2 min later a car pulled up with 4 people. After 10 minutes 7 other cars pulled up. 15 minutes later the car that had 4 people received their food. 3 minutes after that another car received their food. I asked the waiter where my food was and he said “I’m not sure why it’s taking so long”. 3 minutes after that my food comes out. I asked for the manager and the waiter told me “they aren’t here today” I explained to him that I was waiting for 30 minutes for a burger and fries and I don’t think I should pay for this. He just looked at me and said “I’m sorry it’s $11” I told him I don’t want it anymore and gave it back. The customer service I received today was not acceptable especially being in customer...
