Wow...the burg has a Napali/Indian kitchen! We stumbled across Sargam quite by accident and didn't know what we had. Did some research and were delighted that we no longer had to go a distance to get Indian. I got the Chicken Curry at a regular spice and was really glad it had a bold flavor. I like to think Indian street food would come up and smack you around like that. Chicken perfectly cooked too. Daughter got chicken biryani and said it was delish. Wife got chicken tikka masala and said it was really good too. Serving sizes are just right. The most surprising thing was the pakora appetizer. I'm used to getting a plate with a few pakora...but no way here...you get a basket of delicious salty, spicey pakora with mint and tamarind chutneys. Dude this is the bomb!!!! So much you can mix it in with your meal! The plain naan is AMAZING!!! Crispy baked slathered with butter or ghee or something and all tender and yeasty on the inside. A single serving gives you plenty of pieces...4 biggn's. So if you're a Reynoldsburg native or passing through on the National Road stop in and enjoy some hearty food. I'm pretty sure we'll be here often.

Have been here twice now and plan on going back to try more things. The food has been inconsistent- the chicken 65 and Chaana Chat are delicious, but the curries weren't great. I was underwhelmed by the Chicken Korma and Goat Bhuna Masala curries. The korma had a lot more of a tomato taste than and less of a creamy nutty taste than I'd like. Maybe it's just south indian vs north indian styles, but it wasn't as good as some others in the area. The Goat Bhuna was good, but the curry itself had the consistency of just ....oil. Like it needed more ingredients to add to the oil. Some of the goat chunks were 90% bone and it was hard to get any meat off. That said, the naan bread was great, and the Chicken Chiola was good as well. The chicken 65 and Chaana Chat have been the standout best dishes so far that I've tried. So far, the Indian dishes have been underwhelming, but the Nepalese dishes have exceeded expectations. I'm curious to try more of the menu though. The menu is *huge* and it's hard to rate a restaurant after having only tried 5% of the menu.

I really like the food here, but there have been times when it has been too spicy when I normally order it at a level 3. To play it safe, I keep it at level 2 now. I can handle even spicier dishes just fine, but since I like trying new foods, I don't want my mouth to be on fire when I am deciding whether I like the next item or not. The others in my group are split 50-50. Some love the food, but others, as well as my brother, are not really fans. Salt levels may vary depending on when we have visited. I love the veggie pakora, vegetable chow mein, fried vegetable momos, and so on. They have a ton of spicy and savory Indian dishes that are already vegan. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming, but there have been mixups when we are being served by new waiters. There's only a delay when there are a lot of to-go orders. If you are planning to eat a large meal, skip the booths and sit at a table.

We went to this restaurant very excited to try the food but we left disappointed. The table shared 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 2 desserts -- none of which were particularly good.

We started with the fried chicken momos, which overall weren't awful, but the sauce on them tasted very heavily of coriander, which overpowered any other flavor. Then we had the chicken chili, which had an okay flavor, but the aftertaste was no good. It had the taste of bad oil that lingered after you swallowed.

We also had the fish curry, goat bhuna, chicken chow mein, and chicken jhol momos. The curry and bhuna had a heavy coating of oil over the top. The bhuna had large chunks of garlic and ginger. We were very disappointed with the curries. The chow mein was nothing special. The jhol momos were okay, probably the best of everything we had but good only relatively.

We finished with rasmalai and gulab jamun. We had to send the rasmalai back. The gulab jamun seemed like a canned gulab jamun and was good.

Finally, the restroom was very dirty and had no handsoap.

We were very hopeful for good Nepali food but left wishing we had...
