I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Hobby Hobby, specifically with the framing department and their employee, Roger. My disappointment stems from the poor customer service I received. Initially, I was promised a completion date of October 5th for a restretch job.

However, my troubles began when I visited the store on October 3rd to inquire about the status of my framing job. When I mentioned the expected date to Roger, he didn't take the initiative to check in the back or show any interest in my request. This lack of professionalism was disappointing.

Today, on October 5th, when I returned to the store, Roger while looking up my name in and system and next looked at his watch, still exhibited no sense of urgency regarding my framing project, even though it was a straightforward restretch job. This marks the second time I've been let down by the framing department at this location.

Ultimately, I had to escalate the issue to the Store Manager, Randy, who then instructed Roger to finally begin the work. It's evident that my time wasn't considered valuable during this entire process. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with the customer service provided by Roger and the framing department.

To later address the matter of compensation when the job was finally complete, I again approached the Store Manager, Randy, but his response was shockingly unprofessional. He literally walked past me and spoke to me with his back turned. It's clear that my concerns were not taken seriously.

Upon my checkout I noticed my bill was not adjusted, the cashier had to page Randy and then my bill was adjusted. I reside 30 minutes away from this location, I must find...

Really good Hobby Lobby! I came in to buy some Christmas items a few days ago, because I didn't have a tree skirt or stockings, and I needed some basics like gift tags (first year married! We needed lots of new things). I do tend to find Hobby Lobby pricey, but their sales really do help - especially their Christmas sales, at 50% off! The workers here were all extremely kind and helpful, and everyone was crazy busy, running around and helping customers or unloading boxes. They had a pretty good selection, even in the Christmas section where things were picked over already. I was a tad bummed about their lack of selection on picture frames, but I think part of that was because they were still unloading a TON of boxes - which was the only other negative; I'm not sure what was going on, but there were boxes all over the place, especially in the back corners of the store, and it was mind of hard to navigate around them. I ended up buying two picture frames I pulled out of boxes I saw on the ground. It was kind of functional, but I also felt like I wasn't supposed to be doing that, and having so much in boxes really limited the selection actually shelved. I'm not sure if it's always like that or not, but it was sort of weird. But hey, I got my items! And they're really cute, and all the employees were really fun and nice and absolutely worked hard to be helpful. Not the best Hobby Lobby location. The MANAGER at this location was RUDE and unhelpful both times I spoke to him. Hobby lobby has a problem with its discount flyers. They are not always clear about what is included in the sale. For example, it may say Master's Touch art supplies 50% off, but sometimes it is ALL art supplies and sometimes it is for SELECT items. The manager for this location was in the art supply section twice when I went there, and I tried to clarify what specifically was on sale, and he told me I was wrong about the sale (although the flyer was posted in the store), and he acted like I was stupid and bothering him (customers should not be a bother). Hobby Lobby has tons of competition -- you can buy a lot of their stuff on Amazon and Walmart (not to mention Michaels, JoAnn's and Blick) -- they can't afford to have bad customer service.
