VERY DISAPPOINTED in today’s customer service. Today ,I chose to treat my family to something sweet. I’m baffled bc for the very first time, and I’ve been going to this location for a while now, they’ve always had decent ppl to work there-especially at the greeting counter. However today, a random woman (AA) in the back approached me, not sure if she was the manager but I would hate to think she’s the owner with such bizarre behavior. After I placed my order online and drove miles just for a piece of cake, I was questioned and should’ve have been. I went into the store and gave her my name but she strangely asked to see my ID. She claim they’ve been experiencing some fraudulent actions .It just didn’t seem right to me nor do/did I believe her statement. It was weird, unheard of and I felt uncomfortable - which had me view the staff/store in a different way. I’m not sure if I feel comfortable returning ..I definitely don’t mind taking my business and money to a BETTER location. And will.

Read moreI've had the pleasure of returning on many special occasions and also purchasing cake as a gift for others . I also love receiving the yearly birthday 🎉 treat. However, Today I was asked for an ID by the owner for the birthday reward. To be honest I was very offended and thrown off. I was offended because I would never try and get over for a $5 piece of cake. When you send out birthday rewards or coupons it gives us the opportunity to come in have a great birthday memory and buy additional cake. I mentioned that I have never shown an ID and your response was it is a 3 point check and a training opportunity (for your new hire). Please do not use me as your training opportunity. This was very very uncomfortable. Suppose I didn't have my ID in my email...would you have embarrassed me and turned me away? It also should say on the email to present your Identification to redeem. It simply states "to print or show the email". I have also never come for the birthday 🎉 reward without also purchasing my kids cake but this really threw me off so I didn't get the chance to buy the kids cake. Read moreI came in at 11am today (1/9/21) to redeem my birthday offer and pick up an additional treat. The cashier was wearing her mask improperly. It was so low below her nose that her top lip was nearly showing. She was helping a pair of customers and I was standing back near the doors. I figured I would just ask her to fix her mask once she finished with the pair in front of me. She went to the back to get something and when the door to the back kitchen swung open, I could see that the person in the back wrapping up cakes and prepping orders was COMPLETELY MASKLESS. I find this unacceptable. The mask wasn’t even on her chin or hanging off an ear. It was like she didn’t know that we were in a pandemic and she was actively working around food. I left without a word. It turned my stomach, I will not be back and will be advising my family and friends to avoid this bakery until the pandemic goes away. I used to come to this bakery several times a year, I even had a frequent customer card....
