Checkers — Restaurant in Tucker

I arrived at Checkers about a quarter from 2:00am yesterday. When I arrived at the speaker, I was greeted with Ronald, who asked me to take my order. When I begin to take my order, I hear laughing and him saying something in the background, and then he proceeds to ask me what I said, when I know I spoke clearly the first time. Originally, I placed my order the be a 2 for $4, add on meal, medium size with a lemonade, along with a small fry and a small lemonade. I tried ordering milkshakes and slushies with my meal, but neither was available at the time, which I find they usually are at Checkers.

When I pulled around the drive through, it takes a moment for him to open the window door and tell me my total. I then ask him if he can modify the order, but tell him to recite the order from me first. He told me I order the same meal (which was correct) but said I ordered a medium fry. I initially did not order a medium fry but since I was going to change it to that, I believed that he would have the order correct. While in the middle of asking him that he placed a medium fry, he is making mocking faces at me, interrupting me during me talking to make sure the order is correct. This came off as blatantly rude and disrespectful.

To add that, but when I received my food and checked it when we got home, it was a small fry and a medium fry in the bag. Not only did I pay for a medium fry, and made sure I tried to get the correct order, he is going to play games in my face and be rude and still hand me the wrong food. If I knew before driving off, I would've preferred to order a refund, just because of the way he was acting. Although Checkers happens to be my favourite fast food, I definitely won't be coming back. I feel like if Ronald took the situation serious, and was careful to be more accurate, this could've been avoided. And I'd know having been a fast food manager myself. This should not be the standard service...

Between this checkers and the Waffle House behind it, I don’t know which is worse. Place advertise it closes at 3am, I arrived around 2:40am, parked and walked to the window, saw the young lady cleaning so I asked her was they closed and she stated yes. No problem. As I drove to the waffle behind it (which is no better) I notice a black truck pull in and start to order. I sat and watched as they placed their order and pull up to the window. Not sure what the young lady said but the truck left and pulled back around to the intercom. . I don’t sweat it, just left went to the gas stations. As I’m passing back by on the way to the house around 2:50ish I see ANOTHER car that has clearly order and pulled up to the window to pay. So I politely knocked on the window again and the young lady turned around with her hand ups saying “what!?” So I said “I thought yall was closed?”, she then said “I mean my manager just dropped some tenders, you want them?” As I’m answering yes, another young lady that had no indication on that she’s employed walked around rudely stating what did I expect it’s 10min before they close. She then told me it was $4 for the tenders, no problem.. I’m the mist of the young lady putting the tenders in the bag she told the other young lady “it’s only two tenders anyway!” then proceeded to hand me my $1 back. All I could do is shake my head and laugh. I guess after she saw how disappointed I was with the way they handled that situation, the young lady did try to offer a beverage, but at that point I just politely declined. It’s just disappointing and dissatisfying to see US, do each other like that, especially when someone didn’t come off...

This is the most disgusting checkers restaurant location that I’ve come to so far there’s trash all over the floor. Kitchen area is a mess and I waited for my food for five minutes I saw two workers One of them had dirty sweats below, his butt line, showing his boxers and other hat on his personal attire that was dirty, they served me a burger that look like it’s been sitting on the table for a week. I took one bite and threw it away The burger was cold and tasted stale.. The fries were warm but the soda tasted like dirty sock water this was the worst ,never again. Update : I tried to give these people a another chance because I’ve tried her about five times until I just couldn’t take it anymore and made sure to pack all my food on except on 03/08/24 I pulled up to the drive-through at 1:45am it looked like three young men working they told me they were closed already, which based off google they weren’t supposed to close until 3 AM usually I picked my food up around 2 or just a little after because of my work schedule, but that was the last draw. They send the absolute worst employees to work here not even the same group as before and...
