Greetings consumers . . .
So, we purchased a Precor Treadmill ($2,000+) about 2-3months ago to assist in my rehab (definitely before the Covid-19 drama) . . . & on this particular day (20 May 20) I decided to stop by the store to seek clarification regarding an ongoing issue we've been having (since Precor did not return my calls regarding this issue) . . . & upon entering the store the saleswoman (before saying ANYTHING else, says to me (with her hands extended in a crossing guard 'STOP' motion) . . . "Didn't you read the signs on the door!!!" . . . to which I said "yeah, it said "No Public Restrooms" . . . & her reply was condescendingly (to say the least) "you need to read all the signs" . . . . yeah . . . 'customer service 101' . . . don't treat customers like their your children with your condescending tone . . .
We both were wearing masks when I entered the store . . . & before I even got within 10-15 feet of her . . . she made her condescending statements (with her crossing-guard stance) . . .
In any case, the point of my visit was to simply ask a question (behind my mask AND the CDC's suggested 6' distance) . . . since Precor did not return my calls . . . and she was absolutely NOT helpful . . .which is bizarre to me as she was incredibly helpful when we were making our purchase . . . which I believe is a testimony to their customer service "BEFORE" the sale . . . service after . . . not so great . . . (euphemism).
So, my take home message is this: If you know what you're looking for & you don't need assistance in the process . . . this is a fine place as they seem to carry quality products . . . however, IF you need customer service . . . you'd be better-off shopping anywhere else . . . Walmart, Target or even the internet . . . as that's pretty much the quality of 'after purchase service' you'll receive here . . .
p.s., to be clear, if given the option . . . I'd likely not rate Precor as harshly .. . however, AZ Health . . . I'd give lower rating if it were an option.
p.s.s., Note to AZ HEALTH: IF you're a retailer & you're not open for 'face to face' customer service (after the state permits you to open) . . . . your signage needs to be BETTER than this . . . & you need to figure that out) . . . though I suspect that I'll miraculously see you post a picture of a sign on your business demonstrating this . . ....
Read moreMy husband and I visited their store last week to look at treadmills. We had read terrible horror stories on the internet of people buying online and being left with no customer service when problems occurred. We decided that we wanted to shop local just in case there were any problems with the treadmill. Lamont was awesome. He answered all of our questions and let us try out all the treadmills. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We ended up purchasing a treadmill that day because we felt confident in the service of AZ Health. Out treadmill was delivered as promised the following week. After setup, the treadmill was giving an error. The gentlemen who delivered the treadmill attempted to troubleshoot the error but ultimately could not fix it. AZ Health sent out a service technician the very next day who was able to run diagnostics and fix the issue. It turns out it was never calibrated by the manufacturer. This is precisely why I wanted to shop local where service technicians are available. I can't imagine having to sit on the phone trying to troubleshoot my way through fixing this error. The technician had it up and running in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend AZ Health and will use them in the future for exercise...
Read moreI purchased a Life Fitness Dual Adjustable Pulley machine from Arizona Health, a very expensive piece of equipment. Upon delivery the delivery crew scratched the equipment. As a result, I requested touch up paint to repair it, a process that was over a year and did not work. The tech for Arizona Health also shimmed or leveled the two weight stacks with small pieces of folded cardboard, pretty silly for such an expensive piece. After a year I finally received word that they would replace the piece. They did, the tech once again came and leveled the two weight stacks with cardboard, which I have since removed and leveled properly. The owner, Lemont, apparently thought that this entire ordeal was so special he asked me, the customer, to buy a case of Dr. Pepper for his employee for doing her job. Not the way to...
