Taqueria y Raspados Jason — Restaurant in Tucson

Im going to be as polite as I can here . I've driven past this place for a year now.. wanted to try it but It never seemed busy .. well this evening , we took a chance.. and this is what we found... Pico de gallo ... $8.50 and we got two..reading the menu, this was supoose to come with coconut and jicima ... neither one of ours had that . The only thing semi ripe in this, was the cucumber.

We also got 1 sanoran hot dog , and 1 Tongue taco . Both of which we ended up throwing away . Sanoran dog , bland .. dried out with a soggy bun. And zero flavor .

Tongue taco .. if you have ever opned a can of wet cat food , and ya smelled that smell, ya, you know what I'm talking about .. well that was the flavor of the taco . No Bueno! I read a review where someone said this place was clean and the staff was nice...well, not tonight ... when we walked in , all you smell is fabulouso. Adult care homes use this not because it disinfects and or cleans , as we know it doesn't.. but they use it to cover up bad odors ... not good people.. not good. The staff ???? The two women working this early evening about 445 on 7/28/2025???? Im guessing we're just having an all around bad day. Your okay to have a bad day .. but don't take it out with a not so nice attitude on coustemers. Rude ladies, very rude . We will not return . If you wanna go and or return , by all means , you just enjoy that. Thanks for trying ladies ... but this place was a big fail for us ! Always follow your gut.... we should never have gone and wasted over 30 bucks ......

Do not come here! I have been here a few times first time was great but every time after that was a complete shame. Not only did they get my order wrong several times but they have extremely bad customer service. I went to jasons today and orderd two sonoran hot dogs, not only did the man that messed up my order last time look at me like he had a problem, but when I got home I found that my hot dog was not wrapped in bacon. When I immediately went back and showed them that it was done incorrectly the woman (not the one with the black hair the one with the yellow hair) said i was lieing several times. I told her to look at the hot dogs and see if you see bacon and she said she does not see any but I am still lieing. I asked for my money back and as she gave it to me she said that I was lieing once again. Why would i lie about a 2.75 hot dog? Worse...

Raspados are pretty fire, they’re like the ‘deluxe’ snow cones you get at snow cone stands, but taken to a 10. My favorite is strawberry with the lechera/ice cream. Lots of fruit, super milky, and super refreshing. I tried some of my friend’s fresas y crema. I don’t know what we were expecting, but we sure didn’t expect a 16oz cup packed to the rim with just strawberries and lechera. A good value and I could see why others would love it, but way too heavy and I’m personally not a big fan of foods that just try to overwhelm your taste buds through brute force. I will say their tacos are pretty good. They’re not the best, but they get the basics right. A good balance of toasted tortilla, seasoned and grilled meat, and decent salsas that I can’t really complain about for the price. I can see myself stopping by a lot during the...
