I usually come here and have always left fairly happy. But my most recent visit had me going back and forth debating whether or not to leave this review. I’m honestly pretty upset so I clearly have decided to go through with it. I came in with a friend and we each got an essential oil pedi. Which costs $40. I had come in earlier this week and wasn’t looking for the polish to be redone but I was still paying $40 to have my feet pumiced and massaged. The tech was very polite and I’ve had her before, and when she’s done my nails before I was always happy with the customer service. But this last visit felt very rushed and I was barely given any time or effort it felt like. My friend and I got there at about 5:30 and were told it would be about a half hour wait. We ended up being called back at 6:50. I understand that we got called back 10 minutes before close. But we waited patiently to be serviced and I feel I deserved to be given the same quality of service that everyone before me had. My friend even commented on how rushed my pedicure seemed when we left. I work in the same industry, so I understand wanting to go home at the end of the day. Trust me, I do. But I would never let someone come in and rush through their service if I knew they were paying $40 for it. I’ve had people come in 10-15 minutes before close and I still provide them with the best quality haircut I can. I’m unsure if I'll return again, if I do I’ll be requesting a different tech. I’m upset that I wasted that much money on top of having left the tip that I left for her for what felt like (for lack of a better word) a...
Read moreI feel very indifferent. Initially after my manicure I felt willing to go again but now I’m unsure. From beginning to end.
The check in system is confusing. I asked what the walk in wait time is, and was told to use the electronic kiosk. I assumed the kiosk would give me an estimated wait, but it only put me in a queue without a time. Ultimately, I had to wait almost 2 hours before my appointment started. Which had I known, I would have left and come back.
The service itself is good, and was thorough and relaxing. The only thing that seemed odd to me was that my nails were given a final total filing of the tips and edges after my gel manicure.
A 3.75% fee is attached for all credit purchases. A little steep but I understand. What isn’t advertised though is that only cash tips are accepted.
10 days later though and this is the state of my fingers, though the chipping began within the first week. My nails grow fairly fast, but the pictures shown are 10 days later. After 2 days I noticed the gel near a nail bed attempting to pull up. Babying it, it’s been fine. But the chipping at the tips has been out of my control, and I suspect the post topcoat filing is the cause. Which is ultimately why I won’t be coming back despite the nice service and atmosphere. If I paid for a new manicure once my gel first chipped i’d be spending...
Read moreI went to the El Con Mall location today for the first time. I had never used this company before. I arrived skeptic (only because trying a new nail place is always a gamble) and left wanting to come back! 8 of us had an appointment to get mani/pedis done for my brother and sister in law’s wedding tomorrow.
TRACY (hopefully I spelled that correctly - if not, I apologize!) did both my gel pedicure and my dip powder/gel manicure. She was great and I plan to make future appointments with her! I gave her a rough inspo photo to work with for my nails and I think she did a great job! I have never had my nails this long, shape, or design before, but I left loving my nails! The pedicure also felt very relaxing. Tracy took her time with both services and didn’t make me feel like she was trying to rush to get to the next customer like some people/places do sometimes.
I didn’t hear a single complaint from anyone in our group. Everyone there was VERY kind and attentive. Highly recommend this place! Thank you to all those who worked with us...
