Finally, I got a chance to try this place for the first time. The store is very small but nice and clean. The staff are friendly and nice. But I can only give them 3 stars because of my experience. When I arrived, there was a family (dad and 2 daughter) in front of me. They order 3 drinks. Then I ordered 4 drinks. Then after me there were 3 more customers who ordered 1 drink each. While the staff (2 girls) made the drinks, the owner lady (from the nail salon next door) came and talked to them about their thing... but please... they are busy with making the order, and yet you as an owner not hrlping but instead delaying it. At the end of their conversation right before she left, I heard that the lady owner said, "If you have time. Please make 1 drink for the lady (mom of the family that ordered only 3 drinks before me). And one of the staff said yes. And then she just put away all other orders and made the drink for the lady as the owner requested (seriously?!) The other girl finally finished with the dad & and daughter drinks and gave them out. Then she started making my order. The other girl still made the lady's drink, finished, and gave it tho the lady (which was cutting the line actually). Somehow, the order for the guy after me was done first before mine. My order finally came 30 minutes after I finished placing it. So I would say the order came too long and the staff was not well-organized. Once I got the order, I just left because I needed to pick up my daughter from gym class. When I checked the order, 2 of them were wrong. :
Read moreEdit: Drink quality has gone down, and the prices are too high for me to justify spending on a drink: almost $21 for just two drinks when before that was the cost of three (large with brown sugar boba). Not sure if it's me, but the mango loves coconut now tastes like a flower air freshener instead of mango. My matcha has been oversteeped several times and you have to pay to get less ice. I don't want more drink or whatever: I want less ice getting in the way of my boba! All the fees are getting kind of ridiculous and turn me off as a consumer. I understand inflation or whatever, but there has to be a way to adjust to this without seeming so tacky.
Original review: Absolutely, without a doubt, the best boba drinks in town! Great, creative flavors and I've never tried a drink I haven't liked. The boba is perfectly cooked every time and the drinks are always so aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
I met the owners when the shop first opened and they are amazing!
The shop is always clean and the workers are very nice. Everything is reasonably priced, and the sizes are perfect. I always come here when I want boba and I know I'll leave happy everytime.
Strawberry uji matcha, mango loves coconut (great for new people if you like mango), and the Ube coffee are absolutely amazing...
Read moreWhen I walked in, I noticed the boba shop is pristine and very clean. Cleanliness means a lot to me, and they definitely keep it up! I love the aesthetic and the music! The workers were very friendly and were understanding of any confusion I had with the menu. My favorite flavor for any boba place is taro. My general judgement of a boba place is how well they can make taro milk tea. Blvck Boba Tea hit the spot for me, and the slushie. This is based on several experiences I’ve had. Also, try the Taro Hokkaido Slush. It did not disappoint!
I’m not sure why some of the reviews are mentioning this place negatively despite being refunded for the inconvenience. I understand that sometimes places can run out of stock of certain items and will accommodate the customers. Blvck Boba Tea will be on my list of boba places to stop by, thank you for the...
