Granted, their food is good and you get what you would expect at any Chick-fil-A. The annoying problem I have experienced routinely with this location is that they are too busy, too rushed, and they rarely get my order right. I work nearby, and we order a lot for office lunches, placing our order via the app for between four and eight people and going to pick up curbside. They do absolutely ZERO quality control on checking their orders before bringing them out. Ordering salads? Be sure to count them in your bag because in my experience they will leave one out entirely or provide the wrong salad dressings. So I've learned to double and triple check my orders each time before leaving, asking the runner to wait by my window while I check to make sure everything is in there, which usually is NOT the case. Then I have to wait for the runner to go back in and get what's missing, which can take forever. Today after waiting 20 minutes for someone to bring my order out, I went in to a very busy/overcrowded lobby to check on the status. At first it was impossible to get anyone's attention (not the employees' fault, as they were helping other customers), but right away I saw my order on the shelf ready to be brought out. I finally got someone to help me and she allowed me to take it with me. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not double-checking the contents until I was back at the office. Yup, five salads instead of six. But charged for six as per my online order. We called right away to ask for a refund and were told we would need to come back in the future, speak to a mgr, and then we would get the salad at no cost. Not acceptable. This is bad customer service. Why should a repeat customer have to be more inconvenienced by going back just to let them right a wrong? Supposedly a manager is going to call us back about this. We'll see. Not holding my breath. I have gone there for the last time. I have had it with this place and strongly recommend going elsewhere if you need to pick up lunch for multiple people. They just can't get it right.
This has been an ongoing issue. I have been keeping track, and out of the last ten orders we have placed, there have been issues with seven of them. ...
Read more(This happened on 5.8.18. Emailed the store on 5.9.18, as well as general online comment. The store never responded. I will never patronize this store again. Very disappointed by this situation, and lack of response!)- I am a teacher, and have lived in Tucson since 2011. The El Con restaurant has been a regular stop of mine, and I have always received the friendliest service. Yesterday, I wanted chicken for dinner, and decided to stop on my way home from work, as I live in the neighborhood. The drive-thru was pretty crowded, so I walked in to order my dinner. As I approached the counter, the cashier looked at me (I was wearing a Red for Ed shirt) and before I could say a word, said loudly, "We're not doing the Teacher Appreciation thing!" I was quite humiliated, told her that I just wanted dinner, and that it was fine. I then ordered my usual Kid's meal (I had bariatric surgery, so this is a full meal for me.) As she handed me the drink, which was a size larger than the kid's size, she said, "Well, at least I upgraded your dink for you," in a snide manner. I have never, ever, been treated this way in a restaurant. There was a recent teacher strike in Arizona, although my school did not participate, and regardless, it doesn't matter. Had I not been wearing the educator's shirt, nothing would have been said. As I was waiting for my meal, two women seated near the counter told me they are teachers, and had been given the same rude treatment. The one has a card she bought from a local high school fundraiser, allowing her to receivea free sandwich with purchase of same, whoch she used. We were all embarassed, and the woman next to me in line even made a comment about the rudness of...
Read moreChick-fil-A at El Con is a excellent restaurant! Employees are very polite and very attentive. Food is great the restaurants very clean. And the kids playroom is always open, As opposed to other Chick-fil-A on Oracle that is not ever open! I take my daughter there every Thursday and Friday morning. And we love it. The employees are so friendly and helpful very attentive to your needs. Much better than the other Chick-fil-A I went to on Oracle by Tucson Mall. The Oracle Road location playroom always close! And all the high chairs at El Con Chick-fil-A have placemats that you can stick to the table so your child can eat off of them. And again the other Chick-fil-A on Oracle Road across the street from Tucson Mall never has place mats on their high chairs. So strange out to restaurants that are the same business can be totally opposite. I believe it's because the Chick-fil-A at El Con franchise owned. And the Chick-fil-A on North Oracle by Tucson mall is corporate. El Con Mall Chick-fil-A so much better! I recommend this restaurant to everybody especially that has kids it would like to play in the playroom. Sometimes it's not open when we get there but they clean it immediately and open it right up. Such a nice restaurant recommended for everybody. Keep up the good work Chick-fil-A at El Con love giving you our business! Oracle Road Chick-fil-A should take a lesson from the El Con Chick-fil-A. Thank you so much Chick-fil-A at El Con see you next...
