So, my first time here, I'll try to be short.. but first things first there is parking next to the restaurant but I do think it's a shared lot. I went around 6:20-6:30 pm. There was plenty of parking around that time, so I was unsure if there was a busy point during any other time frame. I did get a little lost trying to find the entrance it's on the side/back.
Staff were all super friendly and attentive, which is a huge plus for me.. the food tasted great. There will be pictures to follow. Dessert was not as many selections as I would have preferred as well as meals go.. but I did go with a work party, so it could have been it was a set menu.. but all in all, I would give this place a 4 star because the atmosphere was nice. Waiters are attentive food did taste great there was some things I wasn't to happy about. Like there Cesar salad... it looked nicer than it was.. a bit hard to eat without looking like a pig trying to shove a full lettuce in your mouth.. haha, and also not your normal Cesar salad.. and prices are a bit high, but the quantity was fair..
Definitely would recommend i will most likely be coming back and next time check out the bathrooms.. normally, I check but forgot to...
Read moreI went to check out the place to see if it was a good location for a special birthday lunch next week. Went at noon to see what it's like at that time. It's not a good place to go for lunch this time of year, as it was extremely hot. Perhaps something could be done to keep it a little cooler... There were only a few misters going, but not enough to cool. The trees don't provide too much shade at that time. Maybe some shade canvas/screen would help. The chairs were metal and looked uncomfortable. Only two tables were occupied by people, but there were several tables that still had a lot of dirty dishes on them, and there were lots of flies. So I decided it's not the right place for lunch during the hot summer. I'd like to go back to check it out in the evening some time, as it might be a good place to hang out for a drink in the evening when it's cooler (hopefully the chairs aren't as uncomfortable as they look). And I've heard there's good music. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised next time once I try the food. Hopefully I will, as we need more good dining options in Tucson. The place is nice and has...
Read moreThe good, the bad, the indifferent. GOOD: Love the ambience and Sies Kitchen has AMAZING food (puerco verde torta, drooling.) Friendly people too! INDIFFERENT: Sat down at Agustin Kitchen and honestly felt like we were annoying the server with our presence. The bartender was great though! BAD. That was nothing compared to the sheer, palpable animosity that came from the blue- haired reposado counter gal. After ignoring my family for a solid three minutes in favor of chopping pineapple, she turned and gave me the most hate- filled, withering look. Like if this were a king fu movie, she was just pitted against the villain who killed her father kind of look. Making matters worse, she said absolutely nothing. We sat in this awkward, silent stale mate for no reason at all. It was truly bizarre. I honestly would have left with nothing but I promised my 3 year old daughter. She grudgingly made the smoothie while simultaneously making me feel horrible for daring to order a cool, refreshing beverage on a hot summer day. The barista at pressed, however, was quite nice. Also, the courtyard...
