As I was rummaging through some of my household items I ran across some material from when my Mother was making comforters for family members, and as a small child, I remember the squares that are shown in the photograph below. My mother had not completed the comforter, so I began looking online for people who make quilts. I seen Purple Sand, and set up an appointment with Kim to discuss my options. I cannot be more thankful for both my Mom for her work, but I am forever grateful to Kim who has provided me the privilege to actually get to drape this beautiful quilt over my own bed. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am to have found Purple Sand quilting and to meet Kim. I was visiting my mom here in Tucson and had a quilt top that I wanted to have quilted so that I could give it to one of my nieces who was only going to be in town at the same time as I for a couple of weeks. I reached out to Kim while I was at home in Washington (state) and we discussed if she could accommodate getting the project completed in 10 days after I arrived. She gives each customer one on one excellent customer service by making us feel like we are important. She is very knowledgeable. Her shop has great fabric selection.
