But the web site indicated they offered high mass on Christmas Eve, so we just decided to attend. I had all intention to "slip in & out" without interacting but just attend the service. Nobody was intrusive, and it was indeed high mass that I truly missed. The only "first time experience" was that I had to dip the host myself as opposed to receiving Holy Communion on my tongue.
