Walking into the New China Sushi Grill Buffet is like stepping into a world where culinary delights await at every turn. The ambiance of the restaurant exudes warmth and friendliness, creating a welcoming environment for diners of all ages. The decor strikes a perfect balance between traditional Chinese elements and modern aesthetics, showcasing vibrant colors and intricate designs that draw the eye. The cheerful chatter of families and friends adds to the lively atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for gatherings.

One of the most striking features of this buffet is the efficiency of the service. Customers are greeted swiftly and graciously by attentive staff who are eager to assist. There is an undeniable commitment to customer satisfaction, evident in the way the staff navigates the dining area, ensuring that every need is met without delay. Notably, the lack of waiting time for food is refreshing, allowing patrons to dive right into the diverse culinary offerings without unnecessary interruptions.

The star of the culinary experience, however, is undoubtedly the food. A standout dish that has garnered rave reviews is the pineapple chicken—a delightful fusion of sweet and savory flavors that leaves an unforgettable impression. Each bite is a burst of flavor, showcasing perfectly cooked chicken that pairs seamlessly with the tangy pineapple. This particular dish has become a signature offering, luring diners back time and again to savor its deliciousness.

As guests indulge in a feast of various options, from sushi and dumplings to an array of colorful desserts, the overall experience becomes a joyous celebration of food. With its exceptional service, inviting atmosphere, and delectable menu, New China Sushi Grill Buffet delivers an experience that earns a perfect score. Families will find themselves immersed in a culinary adventure that not only tantalizes the taste buds but also fosters cherished memories, making it a must-visit destination for food...

TLDR: The woman host/owner/manager potentially said "go home n word" to a Black man several times, the food is OK, the host/owner/manager is unpleasant, and the man clearing the tables was very kind and quick!

I am hoping to the God's above that what my bf and I thought we heard isn't what we actually heard- but I'm not sure that's the case.

Once we entered yesterday (valentines day), it wasn't busy at all, but the lady running the show was rushing us as if a party of 20 just entered. I couldn't care less about that, because if the food is good that's why I'm there (in this case- the food was ok but we know that now).

Here is the potential horrible part and the reason I will NEVER step foot in there again. An older Black man walked in to the restaurant. He and the woman running the show started talking. My bf and I were sat at the first booth nearest the entrance so although we heard the conversation we didn't listen to what it was about. From what we could see though (which would be a lot because we had the closest and clearest view to the front), the man was not posing any sort of threat or acting in any way that would suggest he should leave.

What we did potentially hear is the non Black woman saying "Go home (what sounded like the N word with an A at the end, not a hard R)." She said it like 6 or 7 times like it was NOTHING (hence the reason my bf and I didn't share our thoughts about it till minutes later when he turned to me and asked if I heard what she had said.)

She just kept saying "go gome n.. go home n...", but her accent made it difficult to 100% clock it as the N word. We left as soon as we both registered what had potentially happened (the older Black gentleman had already left - he appeared to be confused and just smiled and said "thank you" on his way out).

Neither of us will ever step foot in there again and will tell everyone I know not to either.

I do have video footage I'm going to review to see if I captured the word itself. I started recording myself when I thought I heard the word.

If you don't care about racism or prejudice (you should!), the food wasn't all that great + an unpleasant host = an uncomfortable experience.

Even without the potential racism my bf and I both believe we heard, I'd rate this...

Since our favorite restaurant closed which was the lotus garden on speedway we figured we try this one. Me and my husband went in there and we saw in the front where the two girls were standing there and they didn't wait on us until five minutes after we were standing there. One of the young ladies came to us and brought us to the table and we sat down and told her that we would be ordering instead of the buffet. Well we sat down and we waited about 8 to 10 minutes before one of the bus boys came to the table and couldn't talk any English. So we placed our order. When we got our order, the chicken was half cooked and the the beef with the rice was cold and also undercooked. As we were talking to the waitress or I believe she was the owner, she told us that she was going to go and put the beef with the rice in the microwave because it wasn't that hot. She brought back the dish with the rice and the beef which was hotter but it didn't taste the same it actually tasted bland. So because of the fact that me and my husband were hungry, and it had already passed 20-25 minutes, we decided to tell her that we were not going to eat there. I went up to the register and told her that we were leaving and that we were not going to pay for the dinners and she told me that we had to pay for the dinners because they worked very hard making the food. As I was going to pay for the food because she got irritated with me, I noticed when I looked over in the corner where the entrance was to where the tables were for eating, there were a few roaches on the floor. I thought that the owner was very rude and also the bus boys were not fully trained at their job. Someone should really get the board of health in that building, because it is not very sanitary in the rooms where the people were eating and also in the restrooms. The food should also be checked by the board of health because some of the food did not look like it was cooked well, especially in the buffet area. Very disappointed at the appearance of the food and also the way that we were treated in the restaurant. Will be going to a better...

This was going to be my first time and so I called first and asked if they had all you can eat crab legs included in there ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET! That's why I go if they have all-you-can-eat crabs that's specifically why I called and the man on the other line assured me yes they do. Mind you it's Saturday night 6 p.m. and the place is packed! So I go on my first trip to get some crab and there is No Crab 🦀!! 6 p.m. Saturday night so I get whatever food and I go back up 10 minutes later and there are a few left I grab the four crab legs. Needless to say those were the only for crab legs I got after waiting almost 20 minutes for crab on a Saturday night at a buffet that claims it's all you can eat! I told them you're false advertising! I told him I called before I came and asked specifically about the crab legs and was assured yes that you did indeed you did carry all you can eat crab! By this time I was livid unfortunately other customers tried to intervene it didn't turn out well for them! That's why you shouldn't butt into people's business sometimes! The meat was like rubber especially the pork awful I spit it out! In one of my Maki rolls there was a hard piece of something black that I spit out which I show to the waitress which she proceeded to roll around on the table. I asked her to go get a manager however a manager never came to inquire about what this black piece was in my Maki that I had actually bit on! So I said to the man at the front can I talk to the manager and he said I am the manager and I explained to him and he said it's coming and I said well it's been 10 minutes already and now I'm finally coming to you after 10 minutes of waiting. He says he's just the front manager and I said well maybe you could go in the back and ask the back manager what's going on and what the holdup is with the crab? He was unwilling to do so! So my experience was NO CRAB LEGS, RUBBERY MEAT AND SOMETHING BLACK AND HARD IN MY MAKI ROLL. bon appetit

This is my experience and do with it as you want. My first impression is it's just like any other Chinese buffet style place. One difference was you paid beforehand, which is no big deal. The issue I had was that my credit card was taken, we were brought to the booth, and then my credit card was taken away. It kind of made me feel uncomfortable. I went to the front to watch what was going on with and it was in the credit card machine with the price and everything done on it and it was unintended on top of the counter top where anyone could taken it. I'm lucky to somewhat know how to use those machines. I finished the process off myself and made their copy, signed it and made my copy and pulled my card. It wasn't starting off very well. Made it to the booth, and from there, it's just like any other buffet. They did have sushi options, which looked fairly good. I'm not a sushi person, but it looked appetizing. Did have a Mongolian grill table set up with very limited options. I did have 2 plates. Very good for what was there? I wish there would have been more sauces, but they had the jalapeno, chopped garlic, and chili oil. It was good. One concern I have was all the grease on the venthood. The rest of the buffet is your typical. Nothing special. They had all the greats like Orange Chicken, beef and broccoli, wonton's, spring rolls, egg rolls, and green beans with many more items. The usual stuff. One thing that I wasn't sure of was their ice cream bar. Nothing more than the old style large tubs that you used a scoop for. Which was somewhat cleaned every time someone used it. Two different flavors, chocolate and cookies and cream. Those were the options for tonight. I don't know if it changes. Good meal if you don't look to closely at certain elements.
