The Ninth House — Local services in Tucson

This is my go to store in Tucson. The energy is immaculate. The folks here are warm, friendly, and well versed in the items that are available. The store is inviting, well lit, peaceful, and overall is an enjoyable experience. Everything they have is showcased beautifully, with lots of space to move around and look at everything they have available. The products and items you'll find here are of superb quality. Their crystals/stones and freshly dried herbs are spectacular. Prices are very clearly marked and up front, so there are no surprises at checkout. The prices themselves are competitive and are reasonable for the quality you are receiving. Further, they offer to cleanse your newly purchased crystals/stones at check out, if you're interested. This is the first metaphysical store I've been to that routinely offers this service for free on newly purchased crystals/stones and I'm a big fan of this.

They have a wide array of products, including a plethora of tarot and oracle decks that span one of their store walls, a sea of crystals and stones, with pendulums, herbs, educational materials, stickers, with a variety of altar tools and decor all readily available. Additionally, while I have unfortunately not been able to attend one yet, they do have an excellent selection of classes available that are regularly scheduled.

The Ninth House is my favorite store to frequent when I'm in the Tucson area. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the employees are, how good the selection is, and there is not another store in Tucson that can beat the warm, welcoming energy that this store exudes. I've been to this shop probably over half a dozen times since it opened, and I really love it! I've done several of the workshops there - candle making, tarot reading, and an astrology workshop, and I attend Wild Woman Soul Circle there once a month. I'm attending an upcoming herbalism course too, and I cannot wait for that one! The classes have all been really great - not too overwhelming or over my head as I'm a beginner in much of these magickal practices. I've also met some really cool and amazing women - all walking their own path with much to share and learn from. II think they are all also taught by local women entrepreneurs and so its pretty amazing to be able to support other women doing their thing through another woman owned shop.

The selection of the shop is also great - you can find books, cards, rocks, crystals, t-shirts, local handmade self care products, jewelry, tarot cards. The vibe of the store is also great - super chill and just the kind of place you could hang out and relax for a while.

Tucson has needed a space like this for a LONG time, and I'm soooo glad we finally have one. Its not snooty like some places can be when you're newer to this world, its super inclusive, open, and just genuinely warm. I really love that this is now a part of this town I love - it has become my go to for all...

The Ninth House has meant so much to me in terms of finding community and strengthening my practice.

The staff at The Ninth House is so knowledgeable and I love the community that they have created here, down to the events, the independent artists they stock, and the classes they offer. The Ninth House takes witchcraft, energy, spellwork and teaching so seriously and so much of it is rooted in liberatory and progressive practices.

Although I have been a reader and practitioner for many years, I am always wary of witchcraft that is rooted in colonial/capitalist/get rich quick schemes where it is more about making money or toxic positivity. The Ninth House is the real deal! They know that community is so essential and that witchcraft is about connecting with the land, being very aware of your energy and how it affects others and doing the hard work on yourself in order to have breakthroughs and show up fully. More than once I have come here to get advice for spells and support. Using the tools and teachings I have gotten here has been so valuable and I have had several slow manifestations and hard won work come through after getting advice from the staff here. The events are incredible and the outdoor witch markets are great for finding community.
