I remember going to Maria Bonita when I was young, so I was excited to see that it had opened again! The tortilla soup was really good, though I was left unimpressed by the enchilada. Chips and salsa were above average. Service was fine enough, I wish there was WiFi available; this makes it unfeasible to come here for lunch as I would need to work Edit: I have returned again, and had more great experiences. The food is certainly worth it’s money (even if the quesadillas feel too cheesy for my preference). Their micheladas are very enjoyable and the service is very personal. Good atmosphere as well, even if they removed the fun tables that they inherited from Cody’s. As previously mentioned, having WiFi would make it easier for me to come here, so that means I have to make arrangements to my schedule when I can be offline $12 for a small margarita feels a bit pricey, but $4-$4.50 for a single enchilada is solid

(BRING CASH -3.5% surcharge for cards) Same as a few reviews before. Food is solid as far as flavor, side portions are decent but $19.99 for cullichi shrimp 6ct is pricey. $14.99 for Kroger prickly pear margarita mix -no, never again. It was too sweet I didn't finish I have never been sticker shocked. Had I seen how much the margarita was I certainly would not have ordered it. Now if it was a craft margarita or house made prickly pear syrup maybe but I am very disappointed they didn't have a drink menu for transparency. Bud light bottle was $7+ (typical of a bar not a restaurant). Kept bringing out chips/salsa but took 20+ minutes just to place drink order. We all had to ask for water. The server was nice but did not provide a service, it was tiring waiting to place food order. Simply because of the wait time and prices I would not go back. ($65 for two people, two entrees and two drinks not the biz)

My husband and I tried Maria Bonita for the first time. We were pleased with the service, atmosphere, and quality of the meals. Also the server was responsive to my request to leave off cheese. The kitchen had added some cheese accidentally but they made it right instantly. The vegan fajitas were terrific, with lots of bell peppers and roasted pieces of corn on the cob. Plus all the fajita makings. There's a charge for additional servings of chips. My husband's enchilada-sauce covered burrito was sizable and he said very tasty.

!!!!!!!!!!!URGENT READ ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came last week and all I can say is DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. All the Waitress girls are rude and act like they don’t care or want to be there. Especially my waitress she was a tall brunette girl. I would say she’s a young Gen z type of girl. She had attitude with me and was sassy for no reason. ( I guess this young generation does not want to work these days) And she took a long time. When she would take long she wouldn’t even apologize. Where are her basic customer service skills?!!!!! It’s common sense ???? The carpet smells like rotten food. It seems like they don’t even wash the carpet. I couldn’t even enjoy my food becuase the smell was UNBEARABLE. Since it’s a small business you would think they care. WRONG they don’t attend their customer well at ALL. Everyone has bad attitude. The FOOD IS HORRIBLE. I Ordered a bean burrito and it TASTED NASTY. Not even real Mexican food. It had a bunch of sour cream. And the guacamole was all the way in the bottom ??!! The food doesn’t seem like it is made with love. I honestly felt invisible when I was attended. I was not given a proper greeting. Im surprise this place is EVEN in businesss. I’m pretty sure they’ll be running out of business soon the way they treat there customers and the AWFUL smell inside. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE STAY AWAY AT ALL COST. YOU WILL GET BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE FROM A HOMELESS AROUND THE CORNER THAN AT THIS HORRIBLE DISGUSTING PLACE. WORST CUSTOMER SERICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. SAD TO SAY YOULL GET BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AT A GAS STATION THAN AT THIS PLACE. trust me I am not acting like a “Karen” as the young kids say these days. I’m just baffled and disgusted at the lack of customer service skills this place has and the food...

The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is intimate and tastefully decorated. The food...OMG! Muy Delicioso! The chicken tortilla soup was so good I wanted to climb into the pot! We followed that with a combo platter 1 chicken enchilada, 1 chicken flauta, and 1 shredded beef taco. From first bite to the last, each one was an explosion of flavor. The food was not greasy or smothered in sauce. This kitchen uses real fresh authentic Mexican ingredients. No cheddar cheese or canned sauce, all Fresh. Even the salsa that came with the chips was made in that kitchen, not from a factory. The salsa was the perfect amount of spice. It was not so hot that you couldn't enjoy the fire roasted flavors. The taco was Dorado style but was not dripping grease. The meats were well seasoned. The portions were perfect. Please do yourself a favor and support this local owned restaurant for a tasty treat. While you're at it, don't forget dessert! The flan is...
