Vineyard City Church is a former Vineyard church at 3150 East Fort Lowell Road in the Winterhaven Square. In August, 2019, VCC merged with Elements City Church which is on North Alvernon Way.
Blessedly, Connections Vineyard Church which had been leasing space at La Paloma Academy was able to assume VCC's lease and continues an active church in the building.
CVC has service Sunday mornings. Service begins at 10:00 am and we are dismissed at 11:30 am.
The CVC Pastors are Pastor Dave Petrash, Pastor Trina Petrash, Pastor Doug Garno and Pastor Rick Leis plus Worship Pastor Jim Crandall. Our Worship Team Leader is Brother Alan Voelkel, the son of Pastor Jack Voelkel and Pastor Mary Anne Voelkel, Associate Pastors of the former VCC. Our Lending Librarian is Sister Susan Garno, the wife of Pastor Doug Garno.
When Vineyard City Church merged with Elements City Church, some of the congregation moved to Elements City Church or other local churches but a lot joined Connections Vineyard Church.
My friends, Sister Anne Elizabeth Lillie and her husband Brother Kevin Lillie and Sister Megan Susanne Goodman and her husband Brother Josh Goodman chose to move to Elements City Church. I chose Connections Vineyard Church. I am glad that I did. I love the Vineyard service. I have gotten to know of Brother John Wimber who founded the Vineyard Church.

Just not exactly like the vineyard churches I've gone to in my hometown back in Cincinnati. Gone to a couple of the small groups too, every body is really welcoming and loving. Just not as on fire or something as the vineyards...
