There are no words for how incredible this place is!!! I can't even begin to describe the curiosity, joy, and wonder this place left me with. At first sight, it doesn't look like much. Finding parking can be difficult during events but I found a little hidden parking lot in the back kind of towards the neighborhood. Upon walking in, I was astounded. A taxidermy deer of some exotic species greeted me with a smile at the door. I just kind of stood in awe of all the beauty around me for a moment before being welcomed in and notified about a free taxidermy workshop going on in the back. I replied, "I can't believe I have never been here before!" and the woman said "Yeah, welcome to your new favorite store!". She was definitely right. Where to start I wondered. I found a table that was FILLED with gorgeous crystals and fossils! As well as a very handsome american toad who was keeping a close eye on the free cookies at the table across from his enclosure. A table with obscure books had me digging for good reads on how to find edible plants in the wild(of which were all at amazing prices!). Last but not least, the free taxidermy event. The women running the show are awe inspiring, so kind, and even more knowledgeable. Even the oddest questions peaked their interest. I told them the story of a cat I had tried to taxidermy in the past and she gave me some amazing advice and even requested photos through social media if I ever had any questions. This business will forever hold a place in my heart for the joy they have brought me. Some of the specimens can be a bit pricey but the quality is oh so very well worth it! It is a great place to buy gifts for that one special person who fancies oddities and natural wonders.

Also notable: this local to Tulsa retail spot basically doubles as a fascinating natural history museum (full of artistic and natural/accurate taxidermy specimens), as well as handcrafted gifts, stationary, jewelry, trinkets and more. They have the most beautiful and breathtaking array of ornamental, novelty, antiquary gifts and beyond. All of my experiences here have been phenomenal — from adding pieces into my own home as decor and collecting, to gift shopping for others. Also, this is your place if you’re into rocks, gemstones, and/or fossils; they have a plethora of selections, beautifully displayed as magical eye candy. Even if your heart or wallet isn’t set on buying anything, it’s amazing to spend time in and look at closely if you have the time. Read moreEdited review: I first gave this shop 5 stars, and am now editing. I first noticed this shop when driving by and opted to stop in and look around. This store has a wonderful selection of bones, labeled appropriately with lots of oddities most would enjoy. The only down fall was that a lady had came in with a large snake that had passed and the lady at the counter and she spoke at the checkout counter the entire time I was there, so getting any sort of help or ask questions was difficult. The counter worker was consumed with the conversation to hardly notice we were there after the snake lady showed up. Here I am several months later editing my review after attempting to call and being told I would be called back, with NO return call. I've reached out on Facebook (where it's obvious someone read my message) and days afterward, STILL no response. As a shop owner myself, I'm a stickler for customer service, not returning phone calls, AND then not returning messages is a no-go for me. In conclusion, I would grade going into the shop a B-, trying to reach them outside of going in the shop has been complete disaster and I would...
