Don’t go the bucaneer bar if you wanna be bullied into tipping for mediocre service, if I ask for ice in my drink, it’s your job as a bartender to do so, not tell me that my beverage isn’t my beverage without ice, seriously ? Then on top of that the very first time I ask for ice before I ever told the gentleman I’d tip him he stated that if I wanted ice I should tip him, out of kindness I gave him 2$ he then saw me put them into the jar, he also when I asked for quarters TIPPED himself right off the bat, bartenders shouldn’t be allowed to drink on the job either, this guy was shooting shots with his “friends”. To be honest the three gentleman at the bar that approached me, the bar tender his brother and some random, we’re all heavily intoxicated but in no way is it anyone responsibility to paying for another persons well being, the fact that I tipped at all should’ve been fine but no the bartender had to have the world biggest breakdown over a 5$ tip I’m sorry were you expecting me to give you my life’s savings for a handful of drinks ? The selection is decent and they were very receptive to our nonsense (which was hitting the place up dressed as pirates). It's a teensy place, cool for shooting pool and I imagine generally a fairly quiet place when not raided by buccaneers. Can't say a bad thing about it, really. I love a flexible place...
