Goodies Catering did my wedding reception. They were incredible through the entire process! I was very stressed about who to have cater. My fiancé and I wanted a “breakfast for dinner” reception out in Claremore, OK where we were having the wedding ceremony and reception on private property all outdoors. We were having a lot of trouble finding someone to do breakfast out in Claremore, all our ideas were falling through and I was getting really overwhelmed. Then my mom stepped in and discovered Goodies! She started communicating with Anthony Willis and from the beginning it was a great experience he was very prompt in communication and my mom and I met with him in person to go over all of the details and he made sure that we would have it just the way we wanted. Very kind and helpful and professional! We did a breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fruit and cream, oj coffee and water. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! All of our guests loved the food. The staff that worked the event were also very good. They cut and served the cake for us and went above and beyond serving at the reception. Wendy, the head server, was so sweet, and Chris and I felt so well taken care of. When we were done with pictures after the ceremony and got to our head table there were plates of food already waiting for us. Goodies delivered all the way to Claremore (about 45 minutes away from Tulsa) like it was nothing and even did a site visit to make sure all the details were in order and they knew the set up. They handled the outdoor challenge and the slight rain we had really well too! At the end of the evening they helped clean up and they had prepared a goody bag of food for my groom and I to take with us. It was so nice having yummy, already prepared breakfast food the next morning that we just had to heat up. They also left leftovers with my family which was very nice. We had a wonderful time and Goodies contributed greatly to the success of the wedding. I felt like I didn’t have to worry about a thing as soon as Anthony stepped in and stared planning. We chose Goodies Catering to provide dinner for our church’s Legacy Society Dinner in April 2019. (One of the volunteer organizers had excellent past experience with their food and service.)

We give them “5 Stars” as we were very pleased with all aspects of their product:

planning: Anthony, the co-ordinator, could not have been more helpful during the planning process. He was exceptionally easy to work with. We texted and emailed; he replied very promptly and was always responsive to our requests or questions. He paid close attention to the details involved, especially as the guest numbers changed during the final few days. Well in advance, Anthony came onsite with Joe, the chef, to view the catering kitchen and the dinner setting. They took notes and photos and clarified for us the items needed for set-up and how they would work within our space. They were very easy to work with.

food: The salad was nicely varied. As our main we chose Chicken Marsala, tender and delicious with a very tasty sauce, roast potatoes and green beans. The servings were plentiful, hot and nicely presented. The dessert’s vanilla and chocolate cake slices were generous and very delicious. We got many compliments!

service and personnel: We give the Goodies’ staff an A+. They were most productive. They arrived on time, got right to work, worked hard from 4:30 till 6:30 when dinner was served. Included was a server qualified to serve wine and he was most attentive to our guests during the pre-dinner Social Time. They laid the tables beautifully and elegantly. The friendly dinner service was smooth and unobtrusive. Glasses were refilled and dishes removed promptly. The Goodies’ staff did a great job of cleaning up the kitchen and their work areas. Altogether, the service was efficient and very friendly and courteous.

We had such a wonderful experience with Goodie’s for our wedding. From the planning process, to the food itself, everything was excellent. Anthony was so quick to respond to our inquiry last year and get us started with planning the catering side of our event. He was so gracious with all of the million questions I had for him and was so helpful to us throughout the last year of planning. Alicia was so excited for us and helpful in the planning process and hosting our tasting. She made us even more excited for the day and she was an important part of our planning meeting with the venue. Michelle was an excellent manager organizing the final details in the weeks leading up to the event and executing everything the day of. I actually only saw Michelle once on the big day because she was running around getting everything done!! Finally, the first thing our guests have been saying is how amazing the food was. It was truly so impressive! One of my friends said she usually doesn’t order a steak at weddings because they’re often overdone, but she selected it because we made a note it would be medium rare, and it was! I’m not sure how Chef Joe does it, it might be magic! Also, we have to shout out the bartenders and serving staff, they were all so sweet and many of them said congratulations to us!
