On Friday June 7, 2024 between 1840-1850hrs while working out i was targeted by an outta shape employee who practically scolded me for having dumbells(a 45lb & 50lb set) at the leg machine with me near the water fountain. He said"it's a safety hazard" and that I needed to take them back near the racks where they are stored IF I want to use them. I asked him"how is it a safety hazard when I'm the only person in this entire area?" He said "its policy". I asked him "where is this policy posted?", and he replied, "It's in membership policy you agreed to when you became a member". I told him "Bro I've been doing this for 3 years all over the country and I've never had anyone EVER tell me I couldn't use the dumbells while I did my legs." He remained adamant so I said" bro nobody is here but me do you not have anything else to do but harass me? I'm almost done and I'll put them back I'm only here for a couple hours just tryna get me exercise in cuz I'm a truck driver," He began to say something wise but I put my headphones back over my ears and continued my workout. Several minutes later a more in shape employee came over to interrupt my workout- supposing his physique would be a lil more intimidating than the previous pipsqueak's- he too began spouting about policy and again I said "my man nobody is over here but me I mean literally nobody is in this section why y'all trippin?" Then he picked up my 50lb set and demanded I grab the other set (45lb) and follow him back to the other side of gym to a more favorable location for them and I flat out refused. I said you can take those and while you do I'm gonna be working out with these🤷🏿‍♂️. While holding the 50lbers he began violently shaking then set them down and I asked "why you shaking like that?". He said " I don't handle confrontation well" and said I'm being a problem. I told him " HOW AM I being a problem when y'all are messing with me?" He picked the weights back up and took them away so I got in one more set with the 45's another leg set and when he returned I left. I told the pipsqueak " have a blessed day" on my way out and hopped in my truck and returned the the truckstop I'd be staying at for the night. So I decided to look intro this policy and I see nothing that expressly says that free weights are restricted anywhere in the gym as most people have the common sense to know you can't take them to the tanning bed or in the shower but for the life of me why did these boys harass me. I've probably had a membership longer than they've been employed by the establishment. This is where I come to get away from the stresses of the world and the tension on the road and on this particular day I was met with a self righteous self entitled set of employees who violated a firm code of ethics not only between people but under the guise of "doing their job" yet in ALL things a little dissection goes a long way. Who was on danger while I exercised? Who was physically placed directly into a hazardous situation in an empty establishment? This behavior must be questioned? Boy came over there snatching up my weights and shaking and stuff could've really escalated all because the pipsqueak wanted to feel in control. JUDGMENT FREE ZONE, what happened to that. I've got a Black Card that originated in Texas and from Texas to WV ,VA,PA,AL,MS,IA,OH,IL and many other gyms I've had the privilege and pleasure to workout out I'VE NEVER HAD ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPEN. Maybe these fools don't know but WE, THE PAYING PATRONS, ARE THE GYM. Without the people there is no paycheck. I'll be looking into this further because I'm paying for a service and was denied the freedom to exercise according to my own personal needs. Checkmate fool, this...

Extremely unhappy with this facility on 81st street in Tulsa. My 78 year old mother went in to sign up. She gave the girl her bank information to sign up but then the girl as her for $40 right then as a sign up fee. My mother told her never mind and she would think about it. Well Planet Fitness decided to run her bank information anyway, and took the fee's out of her account for 6 month's. My mother never worked out at all. I only noticed it when they took out $40 for an annual fee, so I called and discovered they had been taking money out of her account for 6 months. I called the facility 3 times leaving messages for their assistant manager Drew Lockhart. When he finally called me back and I told him the story, Drew said that they could not have done that. I ask why they proceeded with my mother's membership when they wanted $40 that day from her, to which he replied they waived it for her. My mother told me that she DID NOT approve the ACH transition and no one mentioned waiving the $40. I believe that because they had my mother's bank information, they took it upon themselves to run it anyway.

Drew said the he would speak to his area manager and the owner who lives in Florida. That was 3 weeks ago and he still has not called me back, EVEN when I called him AGAIN to find out the status of my request which was to refund all of my senior mother's money.

I guess that I will see if the owner will reply and make this right. If not, my next step is to call the BBB and submit a small claims report.

I was a member for almost 2years, so I try to cancel my account, the girl who help me suggested to freeze the account for a couple of months, so because I wasn't sure to cancel, I accepted. One month later I found out on my monthy statement charges from my suppose to be frozen account, so I visit them, talk to a girl and she advised me I was having another monthly charge from the current month, so she call Jared, the manager, I explained what happened, he told me it was going to be hard to freeze my account and reimburse me at the same time, it was not possible, even if I had proof I freeze the account before the charges; I had my statement with me with the charges, he even insinuated i used their installations with a frozen account, my card was inactive , that was not possible ,so I just cancel my membership. Let me tell you I was going to keep it because my son liked the gym, only thing I disliked it is the women showers and curtains, they are moldy and dirty, but I don't like to be falsely accused ,robbed and...
