On 10/14/22 @ 640 p.m. The last three times I have been to the Chicken Express at Memorial and 91st in Tulsa they have messed up my order. The first time I ordered a liver dinner and got gizzard which I do not like I spoke to the manager that time and she was very nice and offered that I could come back and they would fix it. The second time I ordered a large order around $70 and they forgot to give me the corn that went with my order. This time I called and again spoke to the manager he was indifferent offered no solution and ultimately hung up on me and then refused to talk to me when I called back. I did not return for a good six months. Today I went and again order a liver dinner amongst other items and got gizzards again that I hate. I again called and talked to the Manger who I think may have been the same one and was offered no solution. I ask if there was a corporate number and he said yes but he did not know it. I stated rather blandly that that would limit the number of complaints. He then stated with what I perceive as attitude "you should be able to look if up on Google you can find most phone numbers there." I have went to Chicken Express at any location for the last time I can guarantee. I find it deplorable that this how Chicken Express treats their customers and that this manager is who they have selected to represent them. KFC, Popeys, and Cains should really pay them because they have certainly convinced me to pick one of them from now on. Read moreI went through the drive thru Saturday Night on 07/20/2019. Granted that the speaker in which you order through does have horrible feedback. The Young Lady who took my order was really "Short and Impatient". I was the driver of the vehicle so when I got to the window to pay for my food I tried to explain to her that my passenger was requesting that his fish is fresh/hot. We have had some bad experiences at this location in the past and was willing to give them another chance. She basically walked off from the window and got a snitty attitude with me and another Young Lady took my debit card and I tried to explain to her what my friend was asking/requesting. We ended up going inside and I did something I NEVER EVER do I spoke with the Shift Manager and explained to her what happened. She was nice enough but you can tell the employees are not trained in how to difuse upset customers who were spoken rudley to and walked off from. A simple "I am sorry that happened to you" would have been sufficient. I have worked over 25 years in retail and 15 years of call center experience of dealing with upset customers. I am not going back to Chicken Express I may try another location in other cities/towns and states in the future but I am done with the Tulsa,OK location. The sad part is that my fried chicken was really good as was the fried fish. I drove a good 15 to 20 minutes bypassing Churchs, Popeyes, Zagsbys and Raising Cains to get to this location. Read moreWe have goods and bads about this visit. I'll list the goods first. Now keep in mind before i stop at a place, i check the reviews. With a 4.2 rating, I have expectations. It's affordable. Service was quick and friendly. My food was hot.
First off, the chicken. What the heck? Where's the seasoning? The flavor? I heard it was iowa that doesn't season their chicken. Seriously, this is bland! Good price, blah flavor. Wasn't greasy though, that surprises me.
The mashed potatos. Why is it country gravy instead of chicken gravy?
Corn nuggets. They were ok. They were luke warm but i ate them
Hushpuppies. Not too bad. I should've asked for tartar to dip them in. That would have made a difference.
I'm somewhat disappointed in the food in Oklahoma this week. Please let me find somewhere delicious this week!
