06/06/25 I'd ordered a takeout order through DoorDash, and hubby picked it up since he was already outside. Once I saw took out everything from the bag, I was disappointed. The Queso with ground beef that was suggested & on the menu via DoorDash had None! The Fajita Nachos had a thin & single-layered amount of nachos with a small portion of meat. Instead of contacting DoorDash, I called the restaurant and spoke with a Friendly guy Chendo (his was 1 of 3 Waiter's and 1 Waitress). Since there was no manager on duty, Chendo was attempting to accommodate and help me himself. He asked me to bring it back to the restaurant and he'd replace it. So once I rebagged the untouched food, I took it directly to Chendo. There was a slight language barrier between us, but we understood each other enough to rectify the situation. I returned it to him and he replaced my order. So once home and before I dug in to eat, I videod the food. I still wasn't aware how the food actually tasted. I'd had High hopes for trying out this food. But it wasn't lost on me that Chendo tried to help as much as possible. And I was especially grateful for Chendo and his willingness to get "it right." Unfortunately, the Queso with ground beef was Greasy and Bland. The Fajita Nachos looked NOTHING like the photo on the menu and the portion size was a bit on the small side. Both the steak and the chicken were chewy and Unseasoned. *sigh* The chips were light & crispy (My Fave kind!), but the Salsa was spicy with a Chili taste and not really 'Flavorful'. I didn't taste any garlic, black pepper, white pepper, etc. So I added a smidgen of Chicken Bouillon (excluding any salt) to the food. Everything needed to be "doctored on", but overall, it was still a disappointment. It was also really Hot inside of the restaurant and I had to use my digitized fan in my purse. Unsure what that was about, but the waitress let me know it wasn't just me because it was indeed, Hot (in the lobby area in front near the cash station)! Btw, my Family and I Luv Mexican food and look all over town to try out new spots. Maybe I'll have to try again, and eat inside or on the inviting patio. The staff seemed nice, so it's worth another try, but at a different time altogether... FOOD:2, SERVICE:5, ATMOSPHERE:4

The Casa Amigos on Admiral is a great restaurant, one of my favorites. I had very high expectations for their new restaurant. They didn’t dazzle me with their food today. A Wet Verde Burrito for me and an Enchiladas De Carnitas for my wife. Essentially the same meal. Her carnitas rolled in corn tortillas and mine in a big flour tortilla. Both covered with Casa Amigos' excellent chili verde. Good beans and rice on the plate. No scrimping on the pork, both meals were packed. Disappointing though, simply shredded stewed pork. A weak version of carnitas. Not full of rich flavor, with spices and not finished with a crisp char/caramelized crust from the grill, like a proper carnitas should have. The carnitas need work. The interior of the restaurant has been improved from when Gibby’s Bar and Grill operated in the building. New flooring, furnishings and of course a few Mexicany looking decorations scattered here and there. Out front is a roomy inviting patio. Being on the south side of the building, it is well shaded and takes advantage of Oklahoma’s constant south breeze. If temperatures get back to something tolerable, a cold margherita and a big plate of fajitas would make for a great evening. Cris was running the front end of the restaurant today. Adequate friendly service. The food came out fairly quickly on blazing hot plates. Fair salsa. Order the orange creamy habanero salsa. It is a must. Average, decent food, fair service. There are several excellent competing Mexican restaurants on the east side (only on he east side) of Memorial, all the way down to Bixby. This is serious business in a different hood. Casa Amigos better be prepared to earn and defend their corner. They can’t bring plain stewed pork to a carnitas fight and expect to win. I’ll give the restaurant some time to get things worked out and try again. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" by Spike S. on Yelp. I've probably been there.

first off... the adult drinks were GREAT! and man, they were pretty to look at too.... secondly, we came in around 5p on a Friday and of course most ppl were probably just getting off work, so we got to enjoy the place before it got packed... the waiter and the host were supremely attentive and checked in on us several times over!!! thirdly, and probably the most importantly, the food has been the best in a long time... (my gf and I have been trying out new places weekly) and as honest as I can be here... this place is top 3..!! 😁 👌 it's no question that we'll be back... I posted pics of our experience and I enjoyed a 50oz margarita 🍹 I know pics can only show so much, but again... let me tell u that this place definitely exceeded my expectations..!! thank u to the waiter and the host for providing an awesome experience here...!!!! 💃 🕺 🍹 🍸 (highly recommend)

I am very disappointed with their service. We have been loyal customers since they open their first location we’ve had celebrated many birthdays at their restaurants, but then this happened. 😡😡😡😡😡 We decide to celebrate my birthday there. We made arrangements with the owner that it was a party of 30 plus guests. We even made arrangements for the live band to play that evening, which was agreed upon. The time was set at 6:45pm when my guests arrived 6:40pm there were no tables for us, they had already been given to another group of people!! 😮 When I got there he avoid me at all cause, and when we finally did talked, he said that we were not there on time, yes we’ were because my guests called me to infirm me!!! There was no attempt on this part to accommodate us at all‼️‼️‼️ He has no word, I very very disappointed with this place and will never go there again‼️‼️‼️ 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼😡😡😡😡❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌

After calling other restaurants we went to Mi Tierra located on 9521 S. Riverside Blvd. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Delicious Food and Great Service!!! ♥️ Highly...
