7/26/2025 I ordered a medium supreme pizza. $16.50. Little high. But a solid pizza no doubt. Next day I look at my statement, I was charged $33. An employee added a $15 tip without my consent. They have a drive thru window, I believe I tipped $2. I could’ve not tipped. Not $15. 7/27/2025 I called as soon as I saw the charge and since it was a Sunday I only got the call center, no one was able to resolve it. one of the ladies kept saying “I’m sorry you feel that way” so frustrating. Yet it is a Sunday, I get it. I wait until Monday. 7/28/2025 As of 11 am still no call. I finally get a hold of the store manager and he only offers to refund the $15 that was STOLEN from me. That’s it. Not a couple of free pies. Or even a promise that they would fire that employee who STOLE. It’s like I’m going crazy. A semi local company openly STEALS MONEY and then barely offers to repay it. Insane. After several more phone calls I was graced with my money back(previously mentioned STOLEN MONEY) and a $25 voucher. Wow. Just insane. I expect this from a big chain, but mazz? Come on man. Be better. Be civil. Let’s be real, you’ve gotta soak that stuff in ranch to eat it. Swing and a miss mazzios. What would Ken say?
Also that pizza was for my 90 year old grandmother. I’m a full time caretaker for my 67 year old mother and we are lucky to be able to have a care giver twice a week for 6 hours. I have 12 hours of free time in my week. I’ll go hit golf alls, play disc golf, catch a movie. And my grandmother wanted a mazzios pizza one of those days I had my free time. I was happy to do it. She’s an amazing woman who only has the energy to cook once or twice a week. The rock of our family. She is the one who caught this CRIME. We’ve enjoyed mazzios since I was a kid. Our family will never order from mazzios again. And they don’t even care. It’s an insane world we live in, and mazzios is part of the problem. Might as well go to one of the big guys, they would make it right in 3 minutes. Suck ranch. 7/31 UPDATE ordered a pizza since I had the $25 credit. At the end of the ordering process I ask about the credit, and if it would be applied. The very nice woman at the call center saw no credit on the acct. I was promised a simple $25 credit for a pizza or two. I briefly explained my previous ordeal. She was very nice and offered me $5 off my already ordered pizza. Defeated I accepted. Read moreSmells like vinegar wet mop inside, sticky floors, hot stale air, hat to sit under dusty fans (cooling my hot pizza) oily salad bar spoon handles were all gross (wipe hands on jeans), stained old carpet looks like Harley showroom with oil & tire stains. Ordered custom works pie at counter at 7pm Buffet, when i grabbed my order number off the counter Ms ghetto Shaniqua said don't bother ! Yeah don't bother with taking a number because she would walk out my pie to my table, i pointed to the table i was at because i was skeptical and 30min later i was told by giggling customers that my Thin Crust Works taste really good ! Everyone joking and laughing about known lack of service at this Mazzios and that staff ALWAYS put PIE under heat lamp. So i asked, what is going on here, ALL other Mazzios walks out the ENTIRE PIE OUT TO CUSTOMER TABLE, then 5min later Shaniqua comes out of the restroom hellhole and admits she dropped the ball, then says i can find my some slices left on buffet & it still a bit warm. I asked Billy Bob to take care of it & take your time to get it right (35min eating salad) and he soon brought out a tasty med works thin crust and apologized for 3 of his ghetto staff and then brought out a Brownie for giggles because he was embarrassed by the lazy, loud ghetto staff (which i doubt he hired) huddled behind counter to rag another customer lady who was disappointed in their lack of service, can hear them from outside. Only 6 customers inside Tues buffet was BIG CLUE, crapper was nasty. CONCLUSION : the manager needs new floors, lysol, and new staff that isn't loud ghetto and clueless and indifferent if you return or NOT. My mother was tired so i put up with the lazy staff and got Billy Bob Manager on the stick and was lucky to get a hot pie, SO FAR i'm not sick YET from the buffet bar. Not only did she give me a credit but I also believe she spoke to her team because the next order I received was outstanding and exactly what I was used to when I would dine in. Thank you Mazzios for restoring my faith in the quality of food companies are delivery today!!! Ok Mazzios, where is the rest of my pasta? So my wife ordered through door dash this evening because I’m feeling a bit under the weather, (allergies). We get the same thing every time, my chicken Alfredo, pizzas for her and my son and cinnamon sticks. We always go in and they know me when I show up because the manager is also a veteran and we chat. Apparently there is a miscommunication because I wanted a whole order not just a half order of chicken Alfredo. Never get this service in person, you’ll got some explaining to do but to top it off we then open the pizza, where is the sauce? See you next week I have pictures.
