Been to this IHOP a handful of times but every time the service has always been solid, the food isn't the BEST food in terms of flavor but the quality is fresh and classic yet simple and they have stuff for those who want to try something new too. I always get ether the Protein pancakes or an impossible burger off the menu like this Jalapeno Kick burger with veggies. The ONLY thing really lacking is the vibe/atmosphere because well...it's an IHOP. It's not going to be a place you mingle often but it's typically quiet, cozy, and comfortable which is what I like in a diner. Solid location too. Staff are friendly and helpful but not overly friendly (bonus points) It's off 71st and Lewis.

Made an online order, got it home paid extra for pancake upgrades only to not have them, call they tell us to come back they will make it right...go all the way back, then they proceed to argue with us that the cupcake pancakes only have whip cream and they put it in the bag (it was water) I said no it says icing he said NO whip cream only! They don’t even know how to make their own product, then we also ordered chocolate mousse pancakes they gave us plain dry chocolate pancakes no mousse, we will drive the distance for better service at another IHOP!

Food was amazing and our waitress was amazing. A woman offered to pay for a homeless man's meal. The man was sitting outside and she told the waitress she wanted to pay for his food. The manager came out and got in a loud argument with the woman and kept threatening to call the cops on the woman and homeless man and the woman customer kept saying the manager was heartless for not letting a homeless man eat in there and everyone was staring in agreement. So much for an enjoying relaxing birthday dinner being interrupted by a rude manager like her.

I have never had a worse experience with an employee of ANY business as I did today with this IHOP on 71st and Lewis. I was yelled at and talked down to by the woman who said she was the manager on the phone, continuously argued with and absolutely no 'customer service' or resolution. She refused to provide her name after telling me to call back and talk to the general manager. When I called back and asked for her name so I could have the proper information when I talk to the general manager as it was suggested I do, they also refused to provide me with her name even though this other person said she knew who it was. So they behave badly and cover each other up so as not to get 'in trouble'. I have already messaged corporate and will definitely be calling or going to the restaurant to speak with the general manger about the unacceptable behavior at this location, but especially by this woman. I'm sure they'll know exactly who I'm talking about. And to top it all off, I had to call twice to even speak to somebody initially because the first time the manchild answering the phone answered that it was 'Good Burger, home of the good burger' instead of using their business name. Corporate will love that part, too. There's a time and a place for all of this type of behavior and none of it was acceptable today.

Update: the general manager emailed me and did not give a single F*ck about how his employees behaved. I hope this...

Last night we went to this IHOP with a group of about 10 people. At first things were great, this young man gave us menus and took our drink orders but from there it all went down hill. We didn't get our drinks for about 20 minutes after we ordered them, We had to ask him after 40 minutes to come take our orders and it turns out he wasn't even our server. A girl named lorraine was. She hadn't even greeted us, not to mention she asked if we would give her 15 more minutes to get read to take our orders and even then we didn't even receive our food until we had been there for an hour and a half and some of us didn't receive our full meals, AT ALL. Now this isn't the worst part, the worst part was when it came time to pay, she took all the cards at the same time and mixed every order up on the wrong card. so we had to wait for her to fix it which she claimed she could do, not only that but when we finally got it all figured out we signed our receipts and gave them back, now i had tipped three dollars, a few other people in our groups were leaving 5's but then she looked at all our receipts and i guess wasn't satisfied with our tipping and had the audacity to say in a very hateful tone "I WISH SOME OF YOU WOULD WALK IN MY SHOES FOR ONCE!" and then stormed off into the back. Now, thats when my friends picked up their cash tips. This was my very first experience at ihop and it was the worst restaurant experience i...

My son and I walked in to have breakfast together. I asked the lady who is standing at the checkout counter how long a wait was for 2 people. She ignored me after making eye contact and walk to the host and. I asked her an additional 2 more times how long it would be. I was ignored. So I asked the little girl in the black jacket standing next to her how long the wait would be she told me 5 to 10 minutes. So I repeated 5 to 10 OK I'll go elsewhere she's ma'am no I said 5 to 10 in a very rude tone. I corrected her and said yes that's why I said 5 to 10 thank you and left. I call the store manager who then decided to give me an excuse and told me I should know better. As a customer don't tell me that I should know better if I'm walking in and that is the 1st rude incident that I'm getting I don't know how the rest of my service would be so I left. The manager refused to help me whatsoever except for telling me to come back which I had told him I'm not gonna come back with that rude customer service. So he hung up on me i contacted IHOP corp and was promised a called from the manager. I followed up with corp 3 more times...no one ever called me. I come from a military family and we move and live everywhere. its been 2 years and not a single family member has returned to any ihop in the US cuz of how...
