So many things I loved about this salon-

Consultations are an offered service. The fee is $15 for 15 minutes, which I found very reasonable. I booked this for my daughter as it had been some time since she had gotten her hair done and she has some unique hair needs. This allowed us to go and talk to a stylist to better understand which service would be best for her.

Tori did the consultation, but collaborated frequently with Janice to bounce ideas back and forth since we did have a unique situation. I love that the stylists are good at what they do AND at the same time are willing to collaborate amongst each other to ensure that we received the best information and care.

There was no judgment for where we were at in our hair journey. They met us where we were and helped to educate and set us up for future success.

Even though we went in for a consultation, we ended up getting my daughter a haircut as well. Tori was amazing at detangling her hair and then cutting her naturally curly hair.

WoW – what can I say. So totally grateful for the service I received from Janice. Still has me shaking my head. I went in with one expectation, and she totally blew it out of the water. I mentally set the bar way to low, which also means I need to set my mental standards higher like OUT OF THE BOX. She cut my hair in a style I didn’t think was possible, along with provided a service (shampoo, condition, mouse - STYLED) I wasn’t even expecting. Ms. Shay, there are not even enough words to describe her amazing gift and talent that God has given her in the industry. I received a wash and set, trim and hairstyle on natural short hair. I have just started my journey free from perms and relaxers just 5 months ago and when I came to her last week, I was very close to giving up and putting in another perm. Not only did she educate me even more on natural hair, my hair felt alive again when she was done. I also brought in my friend and she and her husband was very pleased with her work.
