I bought a battery, one of the Maxx models with 3yr Free Replacement Warranty. Bought this solly on the 3yr free replacement warranty. That was the deciding factor! Here it is 2 years later and the battery has failed! Checked it on the charger, doesn't handle load. Defective! Brought it back and I get told that they changed policy! Won't replace it! WTF! Let me explain to you...... Whatever the policy was at the time I purchased the battery is the policy you have to stand to. You cannot change a policy and rewrite a program for something that has been written already. You have no right to change your policy. And if you do, you have to honor the policy that was written when the customer purchased the product. Everything after the change of the policy sold is what the policy will be, but you don't have a right to change policy under what's been written. I still have one year left on my warranty, therefore you will replace my battery at no charge! You have to stand to what the policy was at the time of the purchase of the product. I will try to return again and have my battery replaced as it should be. Upon my replacement I'm sure the new one won't have the same policy. That is understood. But you don't have a right to change the policy that I purchased. Because that's the policy I purchase. I wasn't purchasing just a battery, I was purchasing the warranty program with it. And you stand to that. I don't want to hear no questions towards where's my purchase receipt, or anything else of the matter. It is stated on the battery 3-year replacement. Read moreOn 10/17/23, I arrived on time at Walmart Auto Center in Turlock for my oil-change appointment. Scheduled it online without issue. Was met outside at check-in by auto-associate Jose, who was inexplicably, consistently, and intensely hostile and disrespectful. It was so bad I walked away in silence, went inside, and notified the department manager, who had someone else finish checking me in. I then picked out my oil and waited for an hour. All of a sudden, an associate and a mechanic tell me they're declining to service my car b/c they don't have the filters for my car's year (95). Neither the online appointment booking process nor the appointment check-in process raised the issue. They inconvenienced me for an hour—and subjected me to discourtesy on that top of that—for nothing. That appointment got cancelled. I then cancelled my other upcoming appointment to change 5 tires, all of which I bought from Walmart. Of course, I cancelled the tires themselves too, but wouldn't you know, they won't issue a refund for nearly two weeks b/c they'll "hold" my tires for pick up, even though I've already told them (repeatedly now) that I don't want them.

Read moreHorrible lines all day into evenings. Shelves poorly stocked any given day. This location opened with problems and has steadily gone down hill ever since. Prices increasing steadily, beginning to stock only their brand. The sale priced of many many items in groceries, sundries and over the counter pharmacy/makeup in other stores are the same if not better than Walmart. Even with new computerized scanning at exit Walmart is now locking up many isles for anti theft which requires customers to find staff and/or wait through other customers to even look at items in make-up, rug cleaners, large containers of laundry soap and other isles. This may deter theft but is not only time consuming and irritating to customers but insulting to the 98% of people who are honest. Their carts are not maintained causing them to be extremely difficult to push around the store. Can't get help out unless you're willing to wait 15 or more for someone to show up. Even disabled and seniors are never offered help out. I now shop only a few items there once every 4 to 5 weeks rather than weekly.
