Bought a dishwasher on 07/31 found it on clearance and was like ohhhhh this is perfect. Rudy was nice friendly short and to the point. I was just in and out in 10 minutes which is always my preference. I first went here because I always seem to have bad luck with appliances one way or another. I heard from a co-worker that Dons delivers on great service and my first impression was so far so good. That’s where it goes south. I did ask them to come out and install I paid the additional fee. I first got contacted on August 2nd at 5:17 pm so I called a little after 6pm but went to voicemail and left a voicemail. Then. I didn’t get a call home call till August 4th at 07:30 in the morning so we finally got it scheduled for next week. I work two jobs so it’s hard to me take off and get these type of things done. Then on 08/11 the guy came out to install on time. While installing it came up with an error code. He told me he was busy with the rest of his day but he would call the store. The store then told me someone would have to come out Thursday to see if it was really the motor or not. So Thursday the 14th comes around the guy shows up on time and says that it wasn’t the original error it was another part that he had to order and that they would call me when the part would come in. Then on August 20th they called and told me the part was in. I told them I work two full jobs and can’t keep taking off everytime they are free. I told them I would be available this August 27th only in the morning. It didn’t sit right and I called back and was able to get a Saturday install but was told I would get a call in the morning. It made me seem that it would be a morning appointment but that’s probably where it went wrong. Saturday morning rolls around and no one calls me. I call them at 11am and Michelle tells me the guy just got there and should be there around 1 to install. He would give me a call when on his way. Now at 1:30 I didn’t hear anything then spoke to tech that hr was running way behind doing a lot Of repairs and he would be able to get to me till 4-6 window. I already have been waiting all day and couldn’t wait any longer. So on Monday I called Dons to speak to the manager Tony, and he told me he would need to look into it. I called in the morning at 09:42am. I know not everyone has this experience but this is mine. I have a dishwasher in my home I haven’t even used yet and can’t use it’s in limbo and no one seems to care at Don’s just took the money and essentially ran away with it. I hope others have better experience but as for me not to hopeful at this point.

Read moreUpdate see below!! Had tech out to determine that our dryer was not working due to a lightning strike. (This was required by our insurance company too) We have had no urgency from this company to help us out in getting the correct parts to fix our dryer which we have been without since 5/25/2024! Their tech said he would follow up with us the following day with an estimate—that never happened! He wouldn’t even sign paperwork that insurance required. So I personally went to the store to ask for my estimate and have someone sign the affidavit of lightning strike!they were confused as to why the tech didn’t fill it out! Then they gave me a date for the repair work to be done on 6/28/2024 and they called day of stating that they don’t have the parts to repair the dryer! I’ve already taken the day off from work too because they call in the morning of appointment to give time of when they will arrive which could be anytime during the day! No further contact from them today as they stated the part may come in by 3pm today! So I will call them again tomorrow but my next step will be to file a bbb complaint against them! Just not right on how they are not very helpful when it comes to servicing their customers! We shall see! UPDATE***they came through and got us back up on track and our dryer is running again. their operations manager worked on getting the control panel delivered to them today and called me to have tech come out and do his swap out of the control panel and we now have our dryer working again! Waited over a month to receive a washing machine that I had put on order in mid July. Paid for the unit on 08/17 after it was delivered to the store and established a delivery date for 08/21. I re-confirmed delivery on 08/20. Delivery window on 08/21 came and went with no delivery and no update from the store.
Called the store only to find out that my delivery was cancelled because I "hadn't paid the invoice" as was reported to me by salesman. Rather than contacting me for payment (or doing any simple investigation internally to confirm that I had actually paid an order that had a scheduled delivery), the delivery was simply cancelled and no effort to contact me was made.
After this blunder, they told me they were out of stock of the unit, but a new shipment was coming and delivery would be scheduled for 08/23. The unit that was supposed to be delivered to my house never made it to the store, so the delivery also did not occur on 08/23. I was led to believe a weekend delivery would be possible but called on 08/24 and was told that they did not receive shipments over the weekend so I would not be receiving the appliance.
Called today, 08/26, and found out that I was slated for an 08/28 delivery – a full week after the delivery should have actually occurred.
