I went to fast pace in union city because I'm coughing and having trouble breathing and I went to Walgreens in union city to get my prescriptions filled and I have never been treated so disrespectful as I was by the young blonde girl in the pharmacy, eating her bag of airheads and not doing anything, telling me I was gonna hafta call fast pace and have them change my meds because the inhaler that was prescribed for me wasn't covered on my insurance, so I sat down and looked up the phone number and called fast pace and told them that they needed to call something different in for me and I told the little blonde girl who was smacking on her candy at the computer that fast pace would be calling them with a different prescription and I asked her if they would know when the medication had been called in and she said no first and then she said yes, so I told her that I would be in the store and to call me over there intercom speaker whenever it was ready, I walked around for an hour and I finally walked back to the pharmacy and asked the girl if my prescription was called in and she said she didn't know and she looked and said yeah it had been called in but it would be about an hour b4 they could fill it and nobody was even in there, there was no line, nothing, so I called fast pace back and told them to send my prescription to my pharmacy and I would just have to go pick it up tomorrow. My son has been sick, going back and forth to different doctors trying to find a treatment that works for him. He hasn't eaten in days. Can barely swallow his own spit, and his immune system it's just maxed out. We finally get some answers, and a promising prescription that would likely give him enough relief to eat and drink. I dropped off the prescriptions around 5. I called at 6:00 to check the status. I was informed that they'd be ready in 15 minutes. I wait 40 and go to pick up. At the drive thru, I'm informed that they only have some of the ingredients for the most important of his prescriptions. How? How was that not brought up in my previous call? Why wouldn't you call, when you did realize it, to let me know, so that I could have called other pharmacies? I'm so upset and disappointed. Once i finished at the doctors office i went to the Walgreens and was told it would be about an hour. I told Ashley that was perfectly fine and i would be back in an hour. She waited until i left and contacted me by phone. I was left a voice mail that said "do not bother coming back today we will fill it tomorrow. I called the pharmacy back to see what the issue was and i was told "you got it filled on April 24, you can wait until the 24 to get it again. I then explained that i would not be in town.
